Cheap Cobalt Flights

Cobalt is a new carrier based in Larnaca, Cyprus. It was founded in 2015, and its first flight took off on July 7th, 2016 from Larnaca to Athens. Cobalt already has seven operating aircrafts, all from the Airbus A320 family. Cobalt flies to 12 destinations in Europe and the Middle East, including four weekly flights between Larnaca and Tel Aviv Ben Gurion Airport. One of its big plans for the near future is to start long-haul flights to China.

How to Check In

You can check in online as early as 72 hours before departure. Don’t wait until the last minute, as online check-in closes 11 hours prior to departure. Check-in counters in Tel Aviv open between three and one hours before departure, and in all other airports, including Larnaca, between two hours and 40 minutes prior to your scheduled flight.

Baggage Allowances and Fees

Each passenger can bring one carry-on baggage with the dimensions 56x45x25 cm and weighing up to 10 kg, plus one personal item such as a small handbag, a laptop case or a camera. If you need to check your baggage, you can purchase either 15 kg or 20 kg in advance. On flights less than 4 hours, including Tel Aviv-Larnaca, the fee is €10 for 15 kg (plus €20 if you do it at the airport) and €15 for 20 kg (plus €25 if you do it at the airport). If you fly from Larnaca to a destination more than 4 hours, the fees are €15 for 15 kg (plus €30 at the airport) and €25 for 20 kg (plus €40 at the airport). The rate for extra allowance is €5 per kg. You can check up to three bags, but if you need more, you can contact the call center. There are no refunds for purchased allowance if you don’t ultimately use it.

Seating

Cobalt will automatically assign your seat to you free of charge. If you want to make sure you get a window or an aisle seat, you can purchase a standard seat for €5 per flight, or €10 for a premium seat per flight. Comfort seats are available for booking only by the call center for €30.

Booking Fees

When you book your flight with Cobalt, there is a 2.5% credit and debit card fee. Skyscanner doesn’t add any costs to your booking.

Service on Board

Cobalt offers a selection of snacks and beverages for purchase. Note that at the moment the airline accepts cash only on board.
