Czech Airlines is the national carrier of the Czech Republic (Czechia). Established in October 1923, Czech Airlines is the fifth oldest airline in the world. Today it is a member of the SkyTeam airlines alliance, and its frequent flyer program is called OK Plus. The airline has 18 planes in its fleet, all of them are Airbuses and ATRs.

During the summer season Czech Airlines flies to 50 destinations in 25 countries, and thanks to codeshares agreements you can find flights and connections to over 110 destinations in 45 countries. Service from Tel Aviv Ben Gurion Airport to Prague is given by SmartWings, and from Vaclav Havel Airport you can connect to many destinations in Europe and North America, such as New York and Toronto.

How to Check-in

It’s always recommended to check-in online or on your mobile device, where applicable. Czech Airlines check-in window is between 36 hours and one hour before departure. Please note, that this service is available only to destinations serviced by Czech Airlines. Print your boarding pass, and if you travel with carry-on baggage only, you can go directly to security. If you need to check your bags, your first stop is the drop-off counters. You can always check-in at the airport. In most destinations, you may do so up to 40 minutes before your flight, but from Tel Aviv, you must complete this process no later than an hour prior to departure.

Baggage Allowances and Fees

All passengers on Czech Airlines flights may board with one carry-on item no larger than 55x45x25 cm and up to 8 kg. Business Class passengers can board with two bags. All Economy and Business Class passengers, except for Economy Lite can also bring one small personal item up to 3 kg which may not exceed 40x30x15 cm. Economy Lite has no check-in baggage allowance. Economy Plus and Flex may check one item up to 23 kg. Business Class travelers can check two items up to 32 kg each. OK Plus frequent flier members with an elite status may be eligible to an extra piece of luggage. An extra item or extra weight 23-32 kg costs €25 if you purchase it more than 36 hours before your flight, €35 if you do it less than 36 hours before, and €45 at the gate.

Seating

If you purchased Lite fare, your seat would be allocated to you when you check-in. Other Economy fares can choose standard seats for free. Preferred seats start at €10, and emergency seats with extra legroom cost €20.

Booking Fees

All fees and charges are already included in the price shown. You can pay with Amex, Diners, MasterCard or Visa. There are no credit card fees.

Service on Board

You can buy refreshments on board, or business meals offer from €4.50 to €13. The business meals include three drinks: soft drink, a hot one, and an alcoholic beverage. Business Class travelers get a meal for free. You can also buy Duty-Free products at the SKY-Shop during your flight.
