I’m currently on my 8th day, and I have another 10 days left, and I’m not worried I’m going to run out of things to do. Yes, the weather hasn’t always been ideal, but the market and museums have made up for it. I urge you to go, grab a map and circle where you want to visit. It’s relatively cheap for attractions and objectively cheap for food and drink. Beautiful city. :)
Budapest is like taking a step back into time, it definitely feels like Eastern Europe with tall, looming buildings and giant windows. It is beautiful and welcoming.
An amazing city in so many ways. There’s loads of great culture here, but also some fantastic bars and restaurants. Plus it’s not super expensive.
This is where I started my trip from. Budapest has cheap connections with everywhere in Europe so you can fly here from Europe with Ryanair, Wizzair and other low-costers for as cheap as 10 euro one way. Also, Budapest is super developed, here you can stay in the great hotel, eat luxury food in Michelin restaurants for the last time before leaving to more "hard-core" countries in Balkans.
