The bus stops at Estrada Boa Nova, Rua Ribeiro João Gomes, Rua do Anadia, Av. do Mar, Rua Dr. Brito Câmara, São João, Av. Calouste Gulbenkian, Av. Infante, Estrada Monumental, Rua Passos Gouveia, Estrada Monumental, Praia Formosa. The journey time is 45 minutes, and from the last station, you can take a connection to the center of Funchal, about 20 minutes trip. The public bus departs from the airport several times a day to Funchal, and it costs €3.35. If you take a cab, note that a trip from the airport starts at €4.00, with a 20% increase for trips made between 21:00-06:00, as well as all day on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
