Excellent stay – recommended all around
The location is top-notch: centrally located within walking distance to sights, restaurants, and public transportation. My room was modernly furnished, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive at all times. The newly renovated bar is very inviting and the selection of drinks was impressive. The breakfast buffet was a perfect start to the day.
I would choose this hotel again at any time and recommend it without reservation.

The hotel was nice, it was very clean, my room was perfect size for single traveler period the mattress was a little harder than I'm used to but it was still comfortable. Plenty of towels in the room for if you need to shower or wash hair. I did not purchase breakfast with my room so I do not know how the breakfast is. My main issue is that at check-in, I wasn’t asked to verify my card or offered to use a different one. They automatically charged my reservation card without informing me, only mentioning the city tourism tax. When I asked if I needed to pay that separately, he avoided the question and just said, “You pay here,” so I assumed it was separate. I paid the tax with my travel debit card, and he handed me the keys without mentioning the room was charged to my other card. I asked if I should pay at check-out, and he revealed the room was already charged. I explained I wasn’t aware and would have preferred to use my other card to avoid foreign fees. He looked it up, seemed unsure if it was even charged, so I checked my bank account, told him I saw it and it was fine since it was already charged, but he didn't acknowledge me and he then refunded the amount without asking, which took a day to process and didn't cover foreign transaction fees. And I had to pay again with my travel card. If I was on a tighter budget, that could've seriously screwed things up for me. As it is, the main thing is the lack of communication, doing things with my card without checking with me.

Like Dante’s inferno
I could live with the minor issues such as the fact that the lift interiors are made of plywood like you are on a building site or the stoppers on the shower gel and soap don’t work and deal with the big problems:
1) the heat in the rooms is intense. It is like trying to sleep in a sauna. So you don’t sleep
2) it is on busy junction so constant sound of trams/trains/police cars/people on the street
3) they seem to be doing construction inside the hotel even late at night so you can hear drilling.
You have a choice: you can open the window to try to get fresh air but a) the noise is even worse and it makes little difference or b) you can keep the window shut, melt even more and still be disturbed by the noise.
It is an utterly wretched dilemma to be in

You get what you pay for
The good: price is good, location is decent for walking around,the room is small but in good condition, and the staff are friendly.
The bad: no kettle, no fridge, no microwave, one soap for body and shampoo with not conditioner, its either AC or heater for the whole building so if, like now, they haven't done the switch even tho the rooms are boiling and its well over 75, the ac hasn't been turned on yet. Ok, some of that might be due to us being from a cooler climate and this is hot hot to us. Also, if you have a lower level room the street nosie is unbelievable.
It is one of the cheapest hotels i could find centrally located in a decent area

Starting e pros: good location, close to restaurants and public transportation. Comfortable bed and pillows, good size including decent space for unpacking. Now the cons: very dismissive team in general. Mostly polite but not proactive at all. I got to the hotel at 10pm after 16h traveling. Shower (which is definitely not great) had a clogged drain and couldn’t keep a stable temperature. I’ve tried to report a couple of times and when I’ve finally managed to, no action at all was taken. This is a 70 euros hotel max. I’ve paid almost 3x this and it’s DEFINITELY not worthy for this price. I’m avoiding on future trips.
