Jump into your car and make short work of the 16-minute drive to Heraklion Port or the 13-minute drive to Palace of Knossos (and enjoy the property's convenient onsite parking in the meantime). Relax by the outdoor pool (enjoy the sun loungers!) or sip a drink in the garden of this villa, which also features a deck or patio and beach/pool umbrellas. For a change of scenery, come inside and enjoy the free WiFi, TV, and CD player. A living room, a dining area, a BBQ grill, and a fireplace are featured at this 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom rental. Bathroom amenities include a hair dryer and towels. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, a stovetop, and a full-sized refrigerator/freezer, as well as a coffee maker, an electric kettle, and a microwave. And there's a washing machine, so you can even pack a bit lighter.

The villa was great and had loads of space. We received a gift basket with Raki and olive oil. The villa was perfectly equipped with a sandwich maker, pool equipment and loads of glasses and plates to name a few

Lovely spacious villa, but you need a car

The villa is lovely, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, full kitchen/dining, separate dining area, and a sitting room with TV. Air conditioning in most rooms. There is a lovely child friendly pool sitting in lovely, large, well maintained gardens, and parking for a number of cars. A gate to the property makes it feel very secure. Although on a road, the area is pretty quiet and is surrounded by picturesque countryside. A small
Local village has a couple of shops, small convenience shop and a couple of bars and a small local quite rustic restaurant selling Greek food and drink.
The lovely owners of the villa are just next door and not only provided some home grown salad items, water, tea and coffee, olive oil, Raki, and wine, but come and clean the villa twice a week and tend the gardens every day.
Access to the villa is a touch tricky with a short steep, narrow, drive off the room which is really only accessible from 1 direction.
About 4 or 5 miles from the 2 more major villages and beaches of Karteros and Kokkini Chani, have a load of shops and bars (be sure to go to Mykonaki in Kokini Chani) and about 5 miles from a large Lidl supermarket. Heraklion is about 10 miles away, Knossos a little further. The other direction has Hersonisos and Malia (Wasabi Japanese restaurant is brilliant), 15 to 20 miles away.

Stunning Villa, Highly Recommended!

This is a beautiful villa; the gardens and pool are delightful, and at the rear of the property we enjoyed stunning sunsets over Heraklion! When we did venture out, we found several tavernas and a well stocked shop in walking distance, and everyone we met couldn't do enough for us. A car is recommended, it's a beautiful island to explore. Manos and his family were fantastic hosts, very helpful, and communication was good. Their home made raki, olive oil and wine were also delicious!

Awesome

Great place, great location, great swimming pool. Spacious rooms, super clean, owner extremely welcoming! Just loved it and would definitely come back! 100% recommended. Ps: the sunrise over the pool is unmissable!

Die Agapi Villa liegt ca 15 km vom Flughafen Heraklion entfernt. Sehr schöne Villa mit eigenen Pool und Garten. Die Villa hat Schlafplätze für 7 Personen, 2 Doppel Bett und 3 Einzel Betten, 2 Badezimmern, Küche mit Geschirrspüler, Backofen, Kaffeemaschine usw, Waschmaschine, Fernseher. Im Garten hat es überall herzige Sitzplätze. Bettwäsche und Handtücher sind vorhanden so auch einen Föhn . Liegestühle und Sonnenschirme am Pool. Jeden Morgen wird der Pool gereinigt und der Abfall entsorgt, 2x pro Woche wird das Haus gereinigt, Bettwäsche und Handtücher gewechselt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der nähe, Strand in der Nähe ca 10 Minuten Autofahrt entfernt zur News Bar Beach, sehr schöner Strand mit Liegestühlen und Sonnenschirm, Mietpreis 6 Euro für den ganzen Tag.
