Situated in Munnar, Elysium Garden offers a cool climate accompanied with panoramic views of the skyline and surrounding nature. It houses a multi-cuisine restaurant and provides 24-hour room service.

I'm the style of Grand Hotels
Obviously built in the style of a "Grand Hotel", the common areas still are.
Check in was a bit slow compared to other Indian hotels.
Room 312 is a spacious room with a two seater terrace and views af a village above. The large window looked onto a even larger wall, 1 meter away. The room had a fridge and a fan. No safe, but a locked drawer. I could not get the TV to power up.
Our main issue with the room was the shower; cold water then scorching hot water with little noticeand little control, problematic with shampoo on your hair.
There was WiFi for messages, but not uploads. Each floor also has a different user name.
We ate in the restaurant and enjoyed our A la cart food. There is also a buffet option.
Staff were all friendly and helpful.

Dream location above Munnar with potential in service
Location:
Excellent location in the middle of the mountains, above the town of Munnar. The fresh air, the tranquility and the wide view of the countryside make your stay particularly appealing. A very nicely located hotel in impressive surroundings.
Catering:
The food was good overall and taste convincing. On the day of arrival, however, the service in the restaurant area was partly in need of improvement and somewhat overwhelmed, especially if several guests were present at the same time. On the second day, however, the staff were much more serviceable and much more attentive after appropriate addressing.
Service:
There were also minor restrictions at the reception on the day of arrival; the reception seemed a bit reserved in some cases. Overall, there is still potential here, with the situation improving noticeably as things progress.
Rooms:
Nice, large rooms with excellent views. The location of the rooms and the view are clearly a highlight of the house.
Conclusion:
A beautiful hotel in a fantastic location with a wonderful mountain panorama. With a little more consistency in service, it can become an all-round excellent stay.

Great location
I had a wonderful stay at in Munnar. The property is surrounded by lush greenery and offers breathtaking views of the tea plantations and hills. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with all the necessary amenities for a relaxing stay.
The staff was extremely courteous and always ready to help with a smile. They made sure every small request was taken care of promptly. The food at the in-house restaurant was delicious, with a good mix of local Kerala flavors and continental options.
What I loved most was the peaceful atmosphere – it’s the perfect place to unwind away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The location is also convenient for exploring nearby attractions like Eravikulam National Park, tea estates, and waterfalls.
Overall, they made my trip to Munnar truly memorable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. ✨

Visit to Munnar
Nice trip with a good experience,
staying in the House Tree in the forest.The way to the housetree was surroundded with tea plantations.We visited some places like spicy garden.
We watch a dancing show.Wecstayed in a resort Rivulet situated near the river.

Not ideal for a quick light lunch
Stopped here for a light lunch, the restaurant is at the back of the building so no views. Staff were friendly enough. Sadly, kitchen staff don't really understand the concept of sandwiches. We ordered 2 soups, 4 different sandwiches and 2 portions of fries.
The soup and fries arrived first. Then a cheese and tomato sandwich arrived, on burned toast, topped with cucumber and cherries!
An egg sandwich arrived a few minutes later, fried egg on burned toast with the same toppings. A chicken sandwich arrived 5 minutes later, shredded chicken, loads of onion and mayo on toast. And finally the club sandwich arrived...6 slices of toast, 2 with chicken and onion, 2 with cheese and mushrooms and 2 with cucumber and tomato!!
And all plates came with additional fries, the waiter should have said!
The menu doesn't make it clear that the sandwiches are toasted and chef should ensure they are not all burned. Service was slow and staggered.
Not somewhere that I could recommend for a light lunch.
