Peace, wellness, and relaxation!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A stay that we will carry in our hearts.
We spent a few wonderful days at Podere Sant’Arcangelo with a group of friends, and the experience was simply fantastic.
The property is immersed in the beautiful Tuscan countryside, in a charming location that offers peace, relaxation, and postcard views. The rooms are cozy, well-maintained, and perfectly integrated into the authentic atmosphere of the place.
Breakfast was a true pleasure every morning: abundant, genuine, and made with quality products. The dinners were also exceptional, prepared with care and able to enhance the flavors of the region.
A special shout-out goes to the beautiful pool, well-kept, relaxing, and perfect for enjoying pleasant moments with friends while admiring the surrounding landscape.
But what truly makes this place special are the people. A special thanks to Maddalena, who is always attentive, very kind, cheerful, and available for any need. Her professionalism and her way of welcoming guests truly make a difference. The entire staff proved to be extremely friendly, polite, and hospitable, making us feel at home from the first to the last day.
An authentic place where one can feel the passion for hospitality and love for Tuscany. We will definitely return and enthusiastically recommend it to anyone looking to have an unforgettable experience.

One of the best decisions we made for our trip to Italy
Title says it all. Absolutely stunning property in the heart of Tuscany. Poderi Arcangelo served as the base camp for me and my partner to explore Tuscany for 4 nights. From the property, we were able to make easy day trips to Florence, Sienna, San Gimignano, and Certaldo Alto. Highlights from our stay include the friendly staff, delicious wine, delicious pre-fixe dinner (one of the best meals we had in our entire Italy trip- compliments to the chef!), activities on site, and gorgeous scenery. Pro tips: book your activities with the property before you arrive- they fill up fast! Also make sure you try to stay on the main property- otherwise you’ll have to drive or walk to your meals depending on where you are lodging. One small con was that sometimes breakfast took awhile to replenish certain items, but that wasn’t a big deal. The rooms themselves weren’t anything remarkable, but the scenery and service more than made up for it. I would recommend this stay to anyone looking for a memorable experience in Tuscany.

A magical experience
We stayed in the casa ARCANGELO house with friends. It felt like being in a movie. The pool area was picturesque. We did the truffle hunt, pizza making and wine tour. They were all so much fun and the wine was amazing. The meals we had were all delicious. Especially our lunch after the truffle hunt. The staff was friendly and very accommodating for our entire group. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Fantastic place to stay with 2 or 24!
We stayed in the casa arcangelo with 20 in the house and 4 in main house. It was great having the entire house and pool to ourselves. The staff prepared amazing meals for our group. The pizza class, pasta class, truffle hunting and wine tours were all a great experience. Highly recommend.

Skip the Dinner and Bring Bug Spray!
While the location was convenient (San Gimignano and Antinori Winery), staff was kind, and the view of Tuscany was lovely, the highlights stopped here. Our room (Junior Suite) was dated and the dinner onsite was very over-priced. The pool, while beautiful, was not heated and we were surprised we had to pay for beach towels (€5 each).
The property has quite a few mosquitoes (which is to be expected to an extent), we realized the door to our room had fairly large gaps below where the mosquitoes would come in. My kids and I woke up with quite a few bites (I had 5 just on my face). We didn’t encounter the same problem in Rome or Umbria or Florence. The bathroom window also faced the parking lot and did not have any curtains or coverings.
But the over-priced dinner that took 3.5 hours was the biggest disappointment. Our family with 3 younger kids (ages 8 to 10) were encouraged to order 2 Florentine steaks (1.5kg each) despite initially telling them that one should be sufficient. We took their advice (figuring they know best). But given how long it took each course to come out (nearly an hour in between), by the time the steaks came out, my kids were full and ready for bed. It would have still been a fine experience for my husband and me if the steaks were cooked well (it was overcooked, chewy unfortunately) and at check out, we learned that the steaks cost €150! We dined at two delicious restaurants in San Gimignano (Fuoriluogo) and one in Florence and had amazing Florentine steaks that cost roughly the same per kg and without the hour long wait. The salad, pasta, and chicken that was served at the property were also average (chicken was dry). Not sure why dinner took so long since it’s family style where every table was served the exact same food and each room’s guests reserved in advance. Seems like the servers were serving and cooking? The next night, we drove into San Gimignano for a delicious dinner, enjoyed some gelato, walked around the town, and drove back - it look far less than 3.5 hours.
For those who want to stay here due to location and instagramable views, I would recommend skipping dinner and bringing a bug repellent for the room. This was the most disappointing stay and meal of our month-long trip to Italy and France unfortunately and we don’t plan on returning.

Our swimming pools are not heated, which is clearly stated in our descriptions. During the summer, with temperatures often exceeding 35°C (95°F), we have never considered heating necessary.
As we are located in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, mosquitoes are naturally more present than in cities. Nevertheless, we carry out daily mosquito-control treatments throughout the property to minimize their presence as much as possible.
Regarding dinner, on the evening of your stay we unfortunately had an unexpected staffing issue, as one of our waitresses became ill. The owner personally came to apologize for the slightly longer waiting times. Our restaurant serves a traditional **four-course Tuscan tasting menu**, which is intentionally paced to allow guests to enjoy the experience. The Florentine steak is priced per kilogram, in line with local tradition, and our staff recommends the quantity based on the number of guests, although the final choice always remains with the customer.
Our cuisine is intended to offer an authentic journey into Tuscany's food and wine traditions, with local ingredients and recipes inspired by the region's rural heritage.
We are sorry that this experience did not meet your expectations and wish you all the best for your future travels.
