Surrounded by palm trees and set in the heart of the Zagora Palmgrove, this guest house offers many lounges with fireplaces and an outdoor pool with a terrace overlooking the grove. Views of the garden and free Wi-Fi access are offered in the rooms at Riad Dar Sofian. Decorated in neutral tones, each air-conditioned room has an private bathroom with free toiletries. Wonderful Stay at Riad Dar Sofian – Highly Recommended

Riad Dar Sofian is a gem in Zagora, the gateway to the desert. The beautiful garden provides a peaceful retreat, shaded by tall palm trees – ideal for relaxing after a long drive.
Our hotel room was beautifully appointed, with comfortable bedding, elegant Moroccan details, and garden views that add to the charm.
The food was amazing, featuring fresh, flavorful Moroccan dishes that made every meal a highlight. Special thanks to Ibrahim, whose hospitality dissolved our worries and made us feel right at home from arrival.
A perfect choice for a comfortable, authentic stay.

Beautiful and quiet

Fantastic place where you can relax a few days before traveling on your Moroccan adventure. Very beautiful main building, nice rooms .with good beds and a beautiful garden and pool area. Staff are attentive and help with what you may need.

An exceptional stay!

An exceptional stay
Everything was perfect: the setting, the room, the bed.
The meals were delicious, and the staff was lovely and very professional: thank you to Ibrahim, Daoud, Driss… and all the ladies we see very little of who greatly contribute to our comfort. The chicken pastilla, which should be ordered well in advance, is excellent.
And the value for money is unbeatable!
The possibilities for excursions in the surrounding area are very numerous.
We will return, God willing!

A perfect way to experience Morocco!

What a lovely, enchanted place to stay in Zagora! This exceptional riad is clean and modern, and offers exceptional service. The entire staff is very happy and friendly and it's obvious they love having visitors stay there. It deserves more than a one-night stop over (we stayed four nights) and is a wonderful place to relax and unwind.

Delicious oaze

Nice hotel, nicely decorated, and super friendly and hard working staff, including Yunes. We first got top 2 smaller rooms on the street side which we found too noisy with cars. Could change rooms without problem, 1st floor, much larger rooms and especially quieter. Pool and garden fantastic, food in the evening somewhat limited in choice but good.
Excursion with overnight stay to Erg Chegaga desert via hotel for a great price. overnight stay very basic but beauty of desert (and trip to) made everything right. On our return we were allowed early in our rooms again and relax next to pool. Zagora relatively little to experience, few tourists.
