Quiet nature
Very nice and cozy b&b with a kind and service minded host. Enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and the nature around. It is very remote and quite and the host offers a home feeling to your stay. I hope the be back in the area again and I would definitely come back

Outside amazing! inside... basic
We went with 3 children and 7 adults and rented a couple of rooms in this B&B.
You've got one 'house' with a kitchen, large dining table, living room and a bed in one room and a small bathroom (shower + toilet) in the corner of it. Then there's a second house (the main house), where the owner lives and where there are a couple of rooms and again a shower and toilet.
So 2 showers and toilets for 10 people. But as 1 toilet and shower was next to the living room, practically nobody really used them as everyone could hear you. They were both not really clean.
The first house with the living room/kitchen was the most used room and was great, but we needed the bed that was in the same room (behind a curtain). That wasn't very pleasant for the person sleeping there as she always was the last one to get some sleep and the first one out again. I don't really get why there is a bed in there.
The other bed rooms in the second (maind) house were not that clean nor cozy (dark and kind of smelled of 'wet dog').
The garden (lots of options to sit outside and enjoy the weather) and the area (lots of walking options) are amazing.
Unfortunately the weather wasn't very great so we couldn't enjoy the garden.
We ordered dinner for one evening and that was okay. Kind of pricey for soup, main and dessert (cheesecake), but a lot of fresh vegetables and it was well prepared.
All in all it it was average. You get the basics: a good bed, a shower and toilet. But don't expect much more. If you are lucky you can spend a lot of time outside. There was not much provided nor were there like small extras or kind attentions or anything. There was a dishwasher, but no dishwashing liquid nor soap. There was a spice rack, but no spices nor herbs. Not even salt or pepper. You just get what you ordered, nothing more.

Perfect - can't wait to return!
I have stayed at this property three times now and each time feel as if I have returned home and each time I leave can't wait to come back. Ans - the name of the owner, is more than just the owner. She is the heart and soul of the place, making everyone who visits feel as though they are family and friends. The location of the property is set within one of the most beautiful areas in Holland and I met people from the Netherlands who felt as though they were in another country altogether, so special is the warmth of welcome and the comfort one feels in being there. It is like being in a very special and exclusive place all of your own where you can forget about all the usual cares and troubles and go there for complete rest and relaxation, whether that includes simply enjoying the countryside and the nature all around, partaking in a healing session with Ans, painting using the countryside as an inspiration or just doing nothing. I recommend this property for families, couples, groups as well as individuals travelling by themselves. There is something for everyone here. There are self-catering facilities, however, the food that Ans cooks herself from scratch using local bio and organic ingredients is wonderful and you will always be more than satisfied by her simple, lovingly made home cooking, full of flavor and very wholesome. We are a family of five and it is unheard of for all of us to agree on a location to return to for another vacation, but all of us look forward to visiting Ans next year.

Gastvrouw doet zich anders voor
Na een leuk weekend te hebben gehad en goed contact te hebben gehad met de gastvrouw (Ans) zijn wij thuis gekomen met niet zo goed bericht. Dit bericht hield in dat we de borg niet terug kregen omdat er iets van het bed (wat bij aanvang al kapot was) kapot zou zijn gegaan omdat we er op gesprongen zouden hebben (beweert Ans zonder ook maar een moment er bij te zijn geweest) wat natuurlijk nergens op slaat, maar ook krijgen we de borg niet terug omdat we ons niet goed hebben gedragen in de nacht. We hebben duidelijke afspraken gemaakt met onze groep en Ans over geluid en muziek en ons daar netjes aan gehouden dat heeft ze ons ter plekke ook meerdere malen verteld, maar toen we dus weer thuis waren kregen we een belletje dat we de borg niet terug kregen vanwege ons gedrag. Heel spijtig dat dit leuke weekend zo heeft moeten afsluiten het lijkt alsof ze er wat aan wilt verdienen omdat wij maar een “jongere” groep zijn. Waardeloze gastvrouw

Zeer onvriendelijk
Na aanvankelijk vriendelijk contact opeens bijzonder onvriendelijke gastvrouw. Nog nooit zoiets mee gemaakt. Helemaal apart en bitter omdat het dwars tegen de online uitgedragen waarden indruist. Is onlangs meerdere pogingen van onze kant niet goed gekomen. Hier gaan we nooit meer heen. Erg spijtig, uiteraard halen wij geen eer uit het schrijven van een dergelijke beoordeling. We zouden het alleen niemand gunnen dit ook mee te maken.
