Conveniently set in the centre of Southern Mallorca's popular Santa Ponsa resort, this apartment complex lies just 70 metres from the sunny beaches, and has its own outdoor pool.

Perfect Location for Beach, Pubs, Restaurants and Hikes.
5* experience, exceptionally clean, all staff we're so lovely, polite and extremely helpful. 10% off the nicest food right outside the entrance (Bloody Mary's). Amazing location, 1 minute to the beach. Sun terrace's that get the sun all day with plenty of sun loungers (wasn't too busy as it was march). Rooms are exceptionally clean with everything needed (kettle, toaster ect).Firm comfy beds (thought it was gonna be too hard when I first felt them but had the best sleep in years). Such a positive atmosphere throughout the hotel, staff make it such a warm and comfortable place. Well equipped bar at reception to buy your water, a coffee or enjoy a nice bevvy& a lovely little pool bar! Will definitely be back!!!

Quick getaway
Just back from a 5 day stay at the sun beach,Have no complaints at all it has everything you need for a self catering holiday.We were in room 106 which was right beside the pool (suited us because we don’t bother about views ).Request a higher room and the view will be right over the beach.No problem getting sun beds ,some days we never went out to the pool until afternoon.Very central to everything 1 minute walk to the beach/bars/restaraunts .Special mention to marta on reception who checked us in .Always had a smile and chatted every time we went past reception.Would definitely stay again

Great location, value for money apartment. Pleasantly surprised.
Visited with my adult daughter and 7 yr old grandson 26th June - 5th July. We have had many holidays in Santa Ponsa and decided to give the Sun Beach a try due to the location.
We were very impressed with the apartment- remember it is only 3 star. We booked a sea view room and were on the 5th floor with a view of the pool, the Main Street and the bay. We had to get 2 lifts but it was never an issue.
Spacious lounge & bedroom. Great air conditioning, shower excellent. Nice balcony. Sofa bed in lounge not the most comfortable but ok - I put the pull out mattress on top of the sofa cushion mattress and that helped. That’s the reason I didn’t give 5 stars (& no ice box in fridge ).
Basic kitchen but adequate and well maintained. We often got breakfast and lunches to take away from the Bloody Mary restaurant at the entrance to eat on our balcony.
Towels changed regularly and sheets twice in 8 day stay. Maids were lovely and everywhere was clean.
Pool area was good and generally got a bed when wanted to, though there should be a policy of taking towels away from unoccupied beds after a couple of hours ( there is a sign up but it’s not enforced).
You can go to the kids entertainment in the sister hotel The Holiday Centre - we didn’t go this trip but handy to know.
Reception staff were really friendly and helpful.
It is in a very central area but we weren’t bothered by noise to any degree. Yes I did hear the bottles being collected from the surrounding bars some early mornings but I think we were far enough back from the road to escape any bar noise. Part of our entertainment was sitting on the balcony having a drink after our meal out and watching the coming and goings down around the roundabout and street.
I do prefer the other side of the bay as it’s slightly quieter (and there are less tacky shops selling overpriced rubbish and presenting non stop temptations to children - was like running the gauntlet every night on the way to restaurants ) however I would seriously consider the Sun Beach again either as a family again or solo travelling.

Lively central basic
I recently stayed at SunBeach Santa Ponsa, and overall it was a mixed experience that leans more towards a party‑style holiday than a relaxing one.
The location is excellent — right in the centre of Santa Ponsa with everything within walking distance. There’s a bus stop directly outside, which made getting around really easy. The reception staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, which was one of the stronger positives.
The rest of the stay wasn’t as smooth.
The pool area is small and slightly run down, although on the plus side we never had any issues getting sunbeds, even at busy times. The rooms were not very clean, and we actually found underpants stuffed under the sink that weren’t ours, which was pretty shocking. Our room was right above the restaurant, so it constantly smelled of food, especially during meal times.
Noise was a big factor too. The hotel is very loud at night, though we did expect this given it was a last‑minute booking in a lively area.
All in all, this hotel suits party‑goers and groups looking for a lively base, but it’s definitely not ideal for anyone wanting a quiet or relaxing holiday.

Not great
Budget friendly accommodation I’m no snob but not for me, first 3 nights we were there we were woken with what sounded like our door being kicked at 6am we didn’t feel safe told the grumpy guy at reception and wasn’t interested. We were on the sixth floor had to take 3 lifts to get to our room which didn’t always work resulting in a long walk up several flights of stairs or had to queue to use them as you could only fit 3 people in at a time, rooms very basic and shabby wouldn’t recommend. Best part of our stay was the woman at reception was very friendly and welcoming which made it a little nicer
