Lovely stay in Corcubion

I loved staying at Casa de Balea. I arrived early but was allowed to check in after informing them ahead of time. It was located right on my camino trail and although going up a few flight of stairs to get to my room in the second floor was a bit of a challenge with my aching legs and feet, getting to my room was a great reward. The room and the bathroom were so pretty, spacious, and clean. I was assigned the Greenpeace room and the room was decorated in blue and with stuff on Greenpeace. The whole pension had a whale and eco-friendly vibe, which I loved. There were living rooms where you could sit and read with a view of the sea. The bed was very comfortable and the water pressure was strong. Wifi was free. The pension was a short walk away from cafe bars. Breakfast was delicious and filled me up perfectly before I started my walk the following day. I also got a lovely gift from the owner to remember them by. Very memorable place.

Perfect hotel in a great location

Beautiful small hotel, lovingly decorated and equipped. It is in the old town, easy walk to restaurants, sea views from terrace and some rooms. Welcoming reception from a kind and efficient host. Has a small honesty bar, breakfast available.

Excellent Overnight Stop on the Camino to Fisterra

We had stayed at the Casa de Balea a few years ago and loved it then. We decided to stay there again overnight whilst walking the Camino with some friends.
We had a wonderful welcome from Rocio. The rooms were all clean and comfortable, individually designed and interesting. The bathrooms were modern and efficient. Rocio recommended a restaurant to us and booked a table. The B&B is only a short walk from the centre of the village. We paid extra for a beautiful breakfast, which Rocio prepared for us, with freshly-squeezed juice, croissants, toast, fresh fruit and yoghurt, hot drinks, followed by Santiago cake!
All in all, our stay was really good value and very enjoyable.

Camino Fisterra

If you are looking for a beautiful way to finish your Camino experience look no further than Casa Da Balea. It is a beautiful house overlooking the bay at Corcubion and Cee. As you relax you look our over the fishing boats at anchor. You can easily read the tide by observing the direction the boats pull against their tether. In the afternoon the sun sets away from the bay offering beautiful views. The rooms themselves are tastefully furnished and are extremely comfortable. The bathrooms are spotless. We have been here three times while finishing our Caminos and will surely return as gain.

Beautiful room with a view!

The town is lovely and quiet.
Rocio is very friendly and efficient. We had a lovely time in the top room, Moby Dick.
The breakfast was nice too, paid extra though.
The only bad thing was they did not take cards...
