Alda Centro León Hostel is centrally located in León Old Town, 800 metres from León Cathedral and the main shopping area. It offers free WiFi. Heated rooms feature wooden floors and have a desk and TV. The private bathroom comes with a bath tub.

Basic. The heating's not working.
Basic hotel. He's got the right thing.
For little price, you will find a small size room, with good overall cleanliness. The beds are sinking.
The best: the young receptionist.
The worst part: the heating doesn’t work, but don’t complain, they say yes, and you end up convinced that it’s your mania. But we got cold and we were wavered by that.

Just the price and the location are worthy it.
The hot thing about this place were the location (right close to downtown and the historical part, with walkable distances everywhere) and the price (pretty affordable when compared to other options).
The check in was also pretty easy to go through and fast, something that worked for us as we got into the hotel quite late (after 11pm). There was no real person there, though.
The downside:
1. I visited during the second week of December and, though really cold outside, they just turned the heat on twice a day. I felt cold and couldn't sleep that well.
2. We were given a facing-the-street room without any sound blocking, so I could hear the cars and people talking, waking me up a few times. Also, there's internal sound blocking as well--you will hear TVs and other sounds from people. So the quality of sleep was really put into question here.
3. The room was just ok--not as you see in the pictures, but with older painting and decoration
4. The mattress was not comfortable, a little used, not providing good sleep quality
If you're really short on budget and don't mind other people's sounds and external sounds, this might be a place for you. I will not go back to it.

Good location, the rest very improveable
We stayed here because of the positive reviews we saw, so I was surprised what we found. To start the check you have to do it yourself from the phone, if you are two well but have to enter all the data of each... I find it cumbersome, plus while you’re queuing up at the mini-reception they have without staff, all to be given the code to take your room key.
Ours was next to the entrance so the noise was... The very uncomfortable beds, soft of everything just like the pillows, we had bunk beds and twins and the bunk beds where the children were squeaking just looking at them, the bathroom just and fair cleaning. There is communal kitchen and dining table, people leave everything dirty so it was impossible to use anything, we needed the microwave to heat milk and the food scraps inside already took away your desire. If you take it as a hostel, it's okay, but not for families. The only positive is the location in the center.

Very unhappy
I am currently hosted. Rooms without windows to the outside. And the worst part is that when trying to change to another hotel paying the difference, from Alda they tell me that you can not because you book by your own website. Their reasoning is that they are different companies with different CIF and everything. They also check in through a telephone.
Not recommended.

Shabby Pension
Scam, Shabby Pension and Half Death. My First Impression was to run out and find other accommodation.
I booked because there was no availability in hotels and they sold it as a hostel, and it is similar to sleeping under a bridge, dirty, showers that are scary, noisy walls and paper, staff that is not, without reception.
Darkness, it deserves an inspection, because they sell it as a hostel. Walls with stains, terror bedspreads, better not to shower to risk skating, in short the house of the
terror in the street la Torre
I recommend looking for another “accommodation”, they will thank me
