Great value, basic accommodation away from town centre.

This is basic a hotel but we grew to like it after two nights. Its situated away from the town centre in a quiet street. There is good secure parking and they have rooms for drivers.
First impressions are that the furniture and fittings are all very dated and the bed was okay. However, our double room was huge with a big bathroom and small terrace. The a/c and ceiling fan,kept the room cool. Two bottles of water are supplied in the room and also at breakfast. The whole hotel was clean.
We also had a bag of laundry cleaned at a reasonable charge, which was a bonus and there is an ironing board and iron set up for use, if required.
The is a large communal fridge with a good freezer compartment. They also have cold cans of beer available..... .
We were away early one morning to visit Delft Island, and they supplied a picnic with some sweet, curried flavoured rolls,banana and water.
Breakfast, western one, was quite simple,with a three egg omelette, toast, small bowl of chopped papaya and coffee or tea.
The owner and staff were very pleasant and efficient.
In summary, "for the price" it is great value and on reflection we would be happy enough to stay there again.

Good place away from center of town

A nice and quiet place some 30 minutes walk away from center of town. Large rooms with a.c. and shower. Beds could be better. Also cleaning could be better. But they care for hand hygiene as they have alcohol to rub hands in all rooms and in reception area.
Dinner is available if ordering before noon.
I haven't had better coffee in hole Sri Lanka. Imported from Canada they say.
Breakfast is a little poor.
A reasonable priced place.

Basic but nice accommodation in remote Jaffna

We had a nice 2-night stay at the Senthil Complex while we explored Sri Lanka’s Northern Province. Our room was large and spotless and the people working there were kind and accommodating. Breakfast was good. Located a bit outside of town, but easy to reach using a car or tuk-tuk. For the price, you can’t go wrong staying here.

Basic but clean & spacious

The room was big and clean, AC was working great and so was the hot water.
There's a balcony, but with no view really, the room has no windows.
There's a common sitting area, but it's hot and not very inviting.
Breakfast is basic - fruit, egg & bread with one cup of coffee or tea.
The staff are very generous and friendly.
The place has beer (not trivial at all in Sri Lanka).
Laundry is 500 Rs for a huge basket, totally worthy if you have lots of things to wash.
Room price is cheaper if you come without booking in advance, but that involves some risk of course.
There are scooters for rent, I payed 1300 for 24 hours.
The main disadvantage is the location - at least 10 minutes drive from any interesting place in Jaffna. This doesn't really matter though, since the interesting places are far from each other anyways, and you'll probably want to rent a scooter wherever you stay.

Incredible value, spotlessly clean and staff are amazing

Its a budget option but obviously since some reviews over a year ago this place has upped its game.
Clean large family room with ac and fan and soap. The bathroom was super and fancy. Hot water!
Staff so helpful and pleasant
It is a bind being so far out with no good places to eat nearby but its still cheaper staying there and taking tuk tuks
