TRANSFER DETAILS (excluded from room rate): Please note that the hotel arranges third-party airport transfers by seaplane at additional cost borne by the guests upon check-out. Kindly contact the Veligandu reservations team via email, reservations@veligandu.com with your international “arrival and departure” flight details along with the full names/ages of all travelling guests under the reservation no later than 7 days before the arrival date in order to book and confirm the transfers. The seaplane transfer time from the Maldivian Seaplane Terminal to Veligandu is about 20 minutes. Seaplanes fly during daylight hours only, i.e., between about 06:00 and 18:00. Airline policy requires passengers to check-in no later than 2 hours before flight time, therefore a Veligandu guest can connect by seaplane only to international flights departing VIA after 09:00. Also, the last seaplane departure from Veligandu is about 16:00. Maximum checked-In luggage is 20 kilos per person; in extraordinary circumstances, luggage may be transported by boat or by a later flight (All other policies & procedures as per Airline regulations). In rare instances, due to circumstances outside the control of Maldivian Seaplane and/or Veligandu, such as unfavourable weather conditions, the seaplane departure may be scheduled to depart earlier than usual from Veligandu to the Maldivian Seaplane Terminal; or later than usual from the Maldivian Terminal to Veligandu, in which case, Maldivian nor Veligandu assumes any liability for any related expenses of the guests. The Daytime Round Trip Seaplane Transfer will be at USD 390 per adult, USD 195 per child up to age 11. Infants under 2 years of age are free of charge (sitting on parent’s lap). Prices shown are for reference only, please contact the hotel for more information.
Please note that Maldives is an island country. The hotel/ resort is only accessible by the transportation arranged by the property If it is not on the same island with the airport of your flight, which will incur additional costs. Please contact the hotel to arrange the transfers (recommended 7 days in advance). The final transfer cost and information provided by the hotel will be considered the most accurate.
