Tegel Airport TXL: Tegel is the main airport serving Berlin, located 8 km northwest of the city center and one of the busiest airports in Europe. You can take the TXL bus to Alexanderplatz or U and S-Bahn (train) stations. There are also buses 128 and 109 serving different parts of the city. A single ticket costs €2.80. A taxi will cost you €25 and up, depending on your destination. Ask at the info desk about Berlin Welcome Card and Berlin Travel Card. These cards include unlimited rides and discounts to many popular attractions.
Schoenefeld Airport SXF: Schönefeld is the secondary airport serving the German capital, located 18 km
southeast of Berlin in the state of Brandenburg. City train S9 and S45 will connect you to the city, Regional Express RE7, RB14 and RB 22 will take you to different parts of the city. There are many connections to Alexanderplatz and Ku'damm. Note that flights from Tel Aviv to Berlin Schoenefeld arrive at zone C, so a ticket to the city center costs €3.40. There are also several bus services connecting Schönefeld Airport to Berlin and its surrounding areas for the same price.
