Two national airlines operate flights from Tel Aviv to Eilat: Arkia and Israir. Both airlines offer several flights every day, including on weekends and holidays, from early morning until late at night, from Sde Dov SDV in Tel Aviv and Ben Gurion Airport TLV.

Terminal Information - Departing

Domestic flights from Tel Aviv to Eilat departing from Ben Gurion airport TLV are generally cheaper than flights departing from Sde Dov SDV due to a lower airport tax. All national flights depart from Terminal 1. You can reach the airport with a train to Terminal 3, and from there, there is a frequent shuttle bus free of charge to Terminal 1. At the terminal, you’ll find a cafeteria, automated machines, and a VIP lounge - Masada. If your flight is on a weekend or a holiday, you will have to take a taxi or your own car, since there are no trains or buses to the airport.

If you live in Tel Aviv and the Sharon area, Sde Dov SDV is very accessible for you. There is only one terminal which has a small cafeteria, and you can reach it with a short bus ride. In both airports, it’s recommended to arrive no later than 90 minutes before your flight due to security checks.

Terminal Information - Arriving

Eilat Airport ETH is a small airport located in the north of the city. Outside the terminal, you can find buses and taxis. Since it’s a short distance to many hotels, taking a cab wouldn’t be expensive. Many hotels offer free shuttle buses from the airport to the hotel, so you should check this option when you book your stay. If you remain in the city center, it might even be a walking distance. Things you should know

If you are an Israeli citizen, you do not need your passport on flights Tel Aviv Eilat, and your national ID card is enough. Holders of other citizenship will need to present a passport for identification purposes.
