Israir is the third largest airline in Israel. Founded in 1996, the airline serves three domestic routes in Israel and flies from Tel Aviv to seasonal destinations in Europe. You can fly from Haifa, Sde Dov or Ben Gurion to Eilat several times per day, every day of the week. Why Fly With Israir

How to Check-in:

Domestic flights passengers should go to Terminal 1 for check-in no later than 90 minutes before the flight. You cannot check yourself in online and you must go to the airport for that. On international flights you should check if you are boarding from Terminal 1 or 3 before your flight. You should arrive at the airport three hours before your departure in order to check-in. Israir check-in counters will be closed 30 minutes before departure on domestic routes and 60 minutes on International flights. You should reconfirm your return flight 72 hours before the scheduled departure.

Baggage Allowances and Fees:

On flights to and from Eilat, Israir allows you to bring one carry-on bag measuring up to 50x40x20 cm and no more than 5 kg. You can check one item of up to 15 kg for free. On international flights you bring one small bag of up to 5kg if the plane is an ATR and 8 kg if it’s an Airbus. Your baggage allowance is generally 23 kg. However it is highly recommended that you check your allowance before your flight. On some routes with some fares the allowance may be different.


Israir will allocate your seat when you check-in at the airport. There you will be able to pay extra for preferred seat such as a seat with more legroom. If you fly with a group Israir cannot guarantee that you will sit together.

Service on board

On domestic flights you will get a snack and water free of charge. There is no service on flights shorter than 2 hours. On international flights of 2-3 hours Israir sells water, soft and hot beverages. If you fly to a destination which is more than 3 hours away, you will be able to purchase sandwiches, salads, water, soft and hot drinks. All kinds of food on Israir flights to and from any destination is Kosher.
