Terminal Information - Departing
All flights from Tel Aviv to Copenhagen depart from Ben Gurion Airport. If the airline you are flying with is a traditional airline, it departs from Terminal 3. Here you will find a large variety of Duty-Free stores, as well as several cafes and restaurants. Three lounges are located in the terminal; two Dan Lounges for premium credit card holders, and King David Lounge for Elite members of EL AL’s Matmid Club. Free and unlimited Wi-Fi service is provided in all areas of the airport.
If you fly with a low-cost airline, it most likely to depart from Terminal 1. If you take the train to the airport, get off at the station near Terminal 3 and go to level G. Here you can proceed with the free airport shuttle to Terminal 1. The old terminal is newly renovated, and you can find here Duty-Free stores, a restaurant, and cafes.
Terminal Information - Arriving
Oslo Gardermoen Airport: Most flights from Tel Aviv to Oslo arrive at Oslo Gardermoen Airport (OSL), located 35 km northeast of Oslo city center. This is just a one-terminal airport. You can take the Airport Express train for 180 kr (₪75) or the NSB – Norwegian State Railways, where the ride is a bit longer, but much cheaper - 93 kr (₪39). There are several bus routes from the airport to destinations in the city for the same rate.
If you are planning to travel Norway by car, you can find Avis, Budget, Hertz, Sixt, and Europcar. Taxis are available from the rank outside the terminal, or they can be booked at the information desk.
Oslo Rygge Airport: Several low-cost airlines arrive at Oslo Rygge Airport, located 60 km from Oslo city center. Here you can take the NSB Regional train to Oslo Central Station. The free shuttle bus from the airport terminal to Rygge train station departs every 35 min past every hour. Taxis and buses are both available from outside the terminal building. Car rental desks are inside the arrivals hall, and you can find here Avis, Europcar, Hertz, and Sixt.
