Terminal Information - Departing

MyCiTi shuttle is a bus rapid transit system that links the airport with the city center. A Standard in Peak or Saver fare periods costs R66.90 (around ₪18). There are also various private shuttle companies that offer service and runs to other destinations.
If you choose to take a taxi, go to the authorized taxis which are metered. Travel time is about 20 minutes. You can pre-book private transportation; the ride should cost between R260-R310 (₪70-85). Renting a car is always an option, especially if you plan to travel the country.
Things you should know
Israeli citizens on flights from Tel Aviv to Cape Town don’t need to obtain a tourist visa in advance. You will be getting one for 90 days upon arrival in South Africa. Your passport must be computer readable, with two blank pages and valid for at least 30 days after your departure from South Africa.
