Flights from Tel Aviv to Genoa depart from Tel Aviv Ben Gurion Airport Terminal 3. Take the train from Tel Aviv to Ben Gurion Airport in the direction of Modi’in; the station is located just outside the terminal, get off at נתב”ג - נמל התעופה בן גוריון. A single trip from Tel Aviv costs ₪13.50. The train runs every 30 minutes during the peak time, but there are no trains on weekends and holidays. If you fly via stopovers with low-cost airlines, it may depart from Terminal 1.

Terminal Information - Arriving
Flights from Tel Aviv to Genoa arrive at Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport GOA, located about 7.5 km west of the city of Genoa in Italy. VOLABUS is the shuttle bus service departing from the airport to Brignole and Principe Train Stations, crossing the city center.
The ride from the airport to the city center takes 30 minutes, and it costs €5 when you buy the ticket in advance, otherwise €6. An additional special bus service between Principe Piazza Acquaverde and Sestri Ponente (Via Hermada) runs every 15 minutes from 6:00 to 20:00 free of charge. Shuttle service connects Genoa Airport to Rapallo, Santa Margherita, and Rapallo with six rides per day. The transfer between the airport terminal and Portofino takes around 70 minutes and costs €20 one-way or €30 round-trip. Discounts are available for groups of 3-5 passengers booking the tickets together.

Things you should know
Israeli citizens don’t need a tourist visa to visit Italy, but your passport must be valid for at least 90 days after you plan to leave the country.
