Why Fly With Air France

How to Check-in:

Air France allows you to check yourself in online from 30 hours prior to your flight until 60 minutes before the flight is scheduled to depart. Online check-in enables you to confirm your presence and choose your seat. The process is complete when you receive your boarding pass. At the airport, you can check-in and print your boarding pass at an interactive kiosk or a check-in counter. In Ben Gurion airport you will find them in Terminal 3. It doesn’t matter how you choose to check in, you must complete it until 60 minutes before the flight or you will not be allowed to board the plane. If you have checked in for your flight and are travelling without checked baggage, you may proceed directly to your departure gate before the boarding deadline, which is 20 minutes prior to departure time from and to Tel Aviv.

Baggage Allowances and Fees:

The carry-on allowance of Air France is very convenient. Every passenger is allowed to bring one or two pieces, depending on your type of ticket. You can also bring an accessory such as a handbag or laptop case, into the cabin. You can board the cabin with a size trolley of 55x35x25cm, weighing no more than 12 kg. Passengers with Standard or Flex fares can send one piece of luggage into the hold for no extra charge. If you have a Light fare, you can purchase baggage allowance online for $25. Doing so at the airport will cost $35 per item. If you fly in Business Class, your allowance is up to two pieces of luggage, weighing up to 32 kg each.

Seating

Every passenger can choose a standard seat free of charge during check-in period starting 30 hours before departure or at the airport. If you are an Economy Fare traveller, you can choose your free standard seat as soon as you book the flight. If you travel with your family, Air France will reserve your seats making sure you will sit together two days before the flight without additional fees. If you want to have a wider selection and make sure you get your favorite seat, you can purchase it as soon as you book. Standard seats cost €20 per person per flight.

Booking Fees

With Air France what you see is what you pay. There are no extra booking fees. As always, when you book your flight with Skyscanner, there are no additional costs of any kind. You can pay for your ticket and extra services with Visa, MasterCard or American Express.

Service on Board

On Air France flights you can choose your favorite meal from a wide range of options. If you need any special meal, such as a particular diet or Kosher food, you can order it.
