After booking and receiving confirmation
The staff spoke to me like I was a burden
Arrived at the hotel only to be told they were fully booked and I would need to pursue a refund from the booking platform and after a conversation they offered me a room and said I’d need to pay again!!
As they changed the wording to were fully booked of that category of rooms
So they charged me $192.00 plus a 200 bond
This is after already paying 179.00 to the booking platform
I have stayed here 25x in the last year and never had an issue like this
Never been charged a bond either and never been spoken to like me booking was a burden.
They refused to match the price I’d already paid and they also refused to cancel it on their side
So for one night I have paid
They have also not refunded the bond and I’m still out of pocket both times I paid the room !
They are clearly trying to cut the booking fee out and doing so at the guests expense.
I really did like this property and they use to be a great place and easy check in process….. what happened !!!!

Don’t leave anything behind here

Booked this for two nights and upon check in there was only 1 person on the counter which made it a slow experience. After reading their page which said parking on site we were told that it was all outsourced and the parking on the street was free after 6pm, which was impossible to get and the parking attached to the hotel was very expensive. Our room had a view of construction and was very noisy at night because the fridge was making noisy, the bathroom was so small that it made it impossible to get dressed in there. There was hand prints on the bedroom mirror and sliding door, under bed was filthy, which we could see from the lounge.
Left something behind in our room and rang them as soon as we realised it only to be told to call the next day which I did and they hadn’t found it, called over the next couple of days and nothing found.

Terrible

Terrible. Suspicious looking people walk in and out of lobby area all the time. Hotel manager explained the hotel has been going downhill for 6 months. Mixed use facility so a lot of rooms are owned by other people and rented out to unsavoury people. Was sitting in lobby at 10pm and within seconds had a man approach asking what I was looking at and then pulled machete/ sword on me and other patrons. This is a no go zone for families and business travellers. Dangerous and rotting from the inside. Be warned!
