Why Fly With Wizz Air

How to Check-in:

Wizz Air has a very easy check-in policy. You can check-in online between 30 days and 3 hours before your scheduled flight. The desks in Israel will open 3 hours prior to your flight and will close one hour before so that you can allow yourself the additional time needed for security. You can also check in via Wizz Air mobile app and download the boarding pass to your cell phone on your flight back to Israel, saving the stress of finding a place with printing services. The operation time of the check-in desks in Europe are between 2 hours prior to your flight, and they will close 40 minutes before the scheduled flight. If you forget to check-in prior to the flight, you can do so at the airport via wizzair.com for a 42 Shekel/€10 fee. You can also do it at the check-in desk for a fee of 125 Shekel/€30. If the web check-in service is not yet available from your departure airport, airport check-in will be free until the service becomes available.

Baggage Allowances and Fees:

Each passenger is allowed to bring into the cabin one small bag no larger than 42cm x 32cm x 25cm, which can fit under the seat. Larger trolleys up to 56cm x 45cm x 25cm which can fit in the overhead bin incur a fee. The price is calculated on the duration of the flight and date of flight usually between 42-84 Shekel. When you don’t purchase carry on allowance in advance, the fee at the airport will be doubled. A total of 6 pieces of checked-in baggage per person is allowed. The fee varies depending on the flight duration, the date, and the weight (23kg or 32kg per item), normally between 67-272 Shekel. The price will be higher when you fail to buy baggage allowance in advance. When you fly from Israel you can take any amount of liquids and creams into the cabin, however, from all the airports in Europe any item with more than 100ml will have to be sent to the hold or you will have to leave it at the airport. Seating:

To keep Wizz Air flights as cheap as possible, your seat will be randomly allocated to you for free when you check in. If you prefer to fly more comfortably, you have the opportunity to choose your seats for a fee which is calculated on the duration of the flight, demand and legroom. The price range is quite significant and varies between 4-130 Shekel. If you purchased a Wizz Go ticket, you could choose your seat for free excluding front row and extra legroom seats. If your ticket is Wizz Plus front row and extra legroom are included.

Booking Fees:
