Hotel Steuxner

Located in the heart of the Stubai Valley, this family-run hotel is a 20-minute drive away from both Innsbruck and the Stubai Glacier. Hotel Steuxner features a pond in the big garden and a spa area with 2 saunas, a relaxation room, and exercise machines. Massages are also offered. Half-board consists of a rich breakfast buffet and a 4-course dinner. Hotel Steuxner also features a cozy fireplace lounge and a bar. A lake with a children’s playground and a beach volleyball court is nearby. A bus stop is only a 2-minute walk away from Hotel Steuxner. From 22 May until 11 October, guests receive the Stubai Super Card Guest Card for free. It includes free use of public transport to and from Innsbruck, free access to public pools, free use of one local cable car per day and one ride with the Mieders Summer Toboggan run per day.

Beautiful stay

The apartment we had was very large, tastefully decorated, new, modern mountain style and equipped with every comfort.
The view from the windows was magnificent over the beautiful valley, fields, mountains and woods.
The real gem is the garden, well-kept, full of games for children and with a beautiful pond (unfortunately not bathing). Returning in the afternoon after walks and relaxing a couple of hours in the deckchairs, while the children play serenely, before dinner was a special treat of the whole holiday.
The hotel is partially renovated, I recommend staying in this part to enjoy the overnight experience.
We haven't tried the kitchen.

Very good!

It is a very very nice hotel the food was very tasty and the surroundings very nice, the staff was friendly and the rooms were also good. There was just no fridge, which we sometimes missed. There was also a very nice swimming pond with pure water, very cool!!

Ski Holiday Austria

We stayed ten nights at this wonderful family run hotel. We arrived after 7pm and were greeted by Danni, one of the owners, she was polite and efficient and welcomed us in. An evening meal was ready for us and we settled in.
Danni and her Husband (Andy the Chef) are on hand all the time to help and assist as is the head waiter Nuri.
Ski passes were organised by the hotel staff and all local information and helpful hints were given.
The food is excellent and plentiful (we were half board). The WiFi is workable but not that fast, this was not a drama as I have unlimited data. As I say the WiFi is slow but workable.
The rooms are cosy, clean and very functional.
There is a very spacious ski and boot room in the cellar and they have a sauna that is available from 4pm to 8pm.
The property is about 5min walk from the bus stop that takes you to the slopes. (Free bus).
We had a tremendous time and we will return.
German and English are spoken fluently throughout the hotel.
Well done Family Siller, this is the best stay we have had when staying in the Stubaital area. Thank You.

A great base when walking in Stubai

We received such a friendly welcome after spending eight days in the mountains. The hotel had already allowed us to leave a bag each in their ski store while we were walking so it was nice to return to fresh clothes. It was even better to return to such a lovely hotel with great food and facilities. We were in a double room on the second floor with a balcony looking out onto the valley we had been walking above.
The breakfasts were buffet style but there was as much as you could eat. All the jams etc were home made. Evening meals were a set menu but very tasty.
If you are planning to walk the Stubai Horseshoe this is an ideal hotel to use as a start and finish point.
