Check-in was friendly, quick & efficient. The room was clean & comfortable. The property is located 5 minutes from where I needed to be.
This is my 2nd stay in 6 weeks & I will be back.

TOTAL DUMP!

This hotel should be condemned.
The room stunk like an old bar, the curtains had moth hole in them over single pane windows that didn’t lock. There were not side table lights, the bed was lumpy and old.
The electrical outlets either weren’t covered by the cover plates or had visible wires coming out of the wall by them.
The bathroom was disgustingly. Old patch jobs in the ceiling from past leaks, paint spatter all over cracked tiles, missing grout and or silicone sealant around tub. You can see where water goes straight behind the tub faucet. Cigarette burns where people have left the buts burn out on the sink.
I was shocked this was what was offered.
I got in late and tired and didn’t want to look for another hotel that takes dogs so stayed.
No refund, credit, or apology was offered. At the desk they just said to put in complaint with booking company. (Reservation desk)
If I could give zero stars it would be more appropriate.

The good: check in excellent, they are there all the time and keep an eye on the property through a bank of security cameras. The room is clean and the bed sheets were clean and fresh. The tv is excellent and has lots of channels. The pool was open and guests were using it. The bad: the place looks like a homeless shelter. The curtains were moth eaten and the lamp shades broken. The bathroom was clean and had lots of hot water but again, shabby. You get what you pay for.

Description and pictures did not match reality. Rooms are older and a bit decrepit, could visually see on the doors where they were previously forced open, and overall did not feel it was a particularly safe environment. Checked in and and instantly left.

The first room I walked into was trashed, mattress of the bed, beds not made, dirty floor. Went down and they were good with giving me another room.
New room was much cleaner but definitely needs updates.
Part of the curtain was broke so it let in lots of light.
Lots of people outside hanging around drinking etc so was worried about it being a noisy hotel but it was a very quiet night!
Did the pool and hot tub in the AM
The pool was fairly warm! But both the pool and hot tub area were not the cleanest, didn’t have towels down at the pool for guests.
Both the pool and the rooms had an old musty smell
The location was a bit hard to find as they still have the old hotel name on the board and little letters for metro inn.
Overall not a property I’d pick again. But it was cheap and affordable.
