The service was great, especially Joan n Benny who had upgraded our room to the beautiful river view without my request, which I was planning to ask when checking in, that was a very pleasant surprise indeed, and furthermore our room was changed immediately, after i complained of smoke stench was strong. Amenities were great especially the lavish garden by the river, and the 25 meter swimming pool just topped it all. However, the down side was the buffet breakfast, which really needs improvent

We booked the family and it was the perfect configuration for a family of 4. The bunk bed was just the right choice for our 2 kids. The resort facilities were great, overall wonderful place to take family with kids.

Got lucky and was upgraded to a much bigger room. Lots of room for my little baby to crawl. Buffet breakfast has a large variety of food and they are delicious! We tried the Ginza Japanese restaurant one of the nights and I must say it is average. Overall, I would visit Pullman Haikou again!

Great location, hotel is nice and fancy. Grand lobby as you enter. The only downside of the outdoor pool is that you can’t use it when there’s a chance of thunderstorm and considering the Haikou weather, this is quite frequent. You are also forced to wear a swimming cap in the pool, which some do not prefer.

Dear guest, welcome to stay with us at Pullman Haikou. Affected by the typhoon, heavy rainfall may occur during Spetember or October. To ensure water quality, we suggest to waer proper swimming suit and cap and thank your for your understanding. Hope we can welcome you again in the near future. Wish you a nice weekend.

I decided to extend my stay, because everything at this hotel is amazing! The staff, the room, the facilities, breakfast... I absolutely LOVED the hot springs, fish spa and pool! Great views from the balcony. I would also recommend the Japanese restaurant on site - I tried several kinds of sushi and compliments to the sushi master! The Western restaurant was just okay in comparison. The sushi was really great!
I want to praise duty manager Helsey Huang who went above and beyond in helping guests (thank you again for everything!) as well as Daisy Xie who was in charge of the amazing breakfast. If I hadn't been so jetlagged, I would have wanted to eat all morning. I wish I had taken a photo of the many delicious choices!
I can also vouch for the massage by Ellen 韦雪兰. I went to her twice - I felt so much better afterwards. The spa is huge with several private rooms with bathrooms and showers. Very delicious tea as well. It just made for a very relaxing atmosphere.
A huge plus was also the fish spa and hot springs/pool. It was very relaxing to just soak in the water for a bit, overlooking the river. The whole garden outside is really nice, with hammocks and swings.
I also want to thank Benny Lu who helped me during checkout - I really appreciate his kindness. If I hadn't made plans to go to Sanya, I would have stayed even longer.
Also, as a side note: the entire hotel smells amazing! I hope I get to stay there again sometime. I would definitely stay again!
