Relaxation break at the Rampart of the Piton!

Very good location!!!
A generous and gourmet table.
Top service.
Family atmosphere.
The terrace offers incredible views of the vineyard...

Avoid at all costs!

If you wish to experience a vintage stay in a hotel that has not been renovated in 40 years, with shabby and dirty rooms, a mediocre breakfast with questionable hygiene, and a high bill, then the Hotel du Rempart is for you!

Noisy rooms

The rooms were neat and clean as well for the terrace.
We stayed for 2 nights, the first night there was a live band till 3 am, that kept us awake. They offered a room directly above where it was still noisy. The next night there was only music over the system that was also noisy.
They tried apologizing with flowers which is a nice gesture but doesn’t make up not having a good rest 2 nights in a row.

To avoid

We did not stay at the hotel but just had dinner at the restaurant.
There were 5 of us and all 5 were very disappointed with this experience.
Waitress absolutely unseemly, she did the bare minimum, we got almost no word from her and even less a smile. The dishes more than average and especially avoid leek quenelles, dry, inedible. Caramel cream is good.

Hello , at the meal level: medium, rusty salmon, red wine was not in the cellar so very chambered!!!
Bar side: the Barman carries 4 drinks, not on 1 tray but fingers inside the glasses... hygiene level is not great anyway!!!
