This 5-star hotel in the Allgäu holiday resort of Oberstdorf offers a large garden with a natural pool. It features a scenic view of the mountains, new (2023) indoor and outdoor swimming pools, exclusive spa facilities in Alpine style, and 1 creative restaurant. The privately run Hotel Franks has spacious rooms and suites with cable TV and modern bathrooms. Most have a private balcony with a mountain view. The Wellness & Spa features a large sauna area with a Finish sauna, multi-purpose sauna, steam bath and a whirlpool. Beauty & therapeutic treatments can also be booked and the spa bar offers refreshing drinks, coffee, tea and snacks. Children are welcome to enjoy the children´s playroom, an adventure playground (in the summer). Guests also receive a 15% discount at the nearby golf course. The Frank's restaurant offers an exquisite breakfast buffet and a wide range of seasonal dishes à la carte using local, organic products. A half-board option is also available as well as a variety of 5-course gourmet dinners, a theme buffet on Saturdays and a 6-course gala dinner once a week.

Wellness, hiking, dining, relaxing, and repeat

Franks is a source of relaxation. We stayed with our dog for 4 nights with the Frank family. A perfect starting point for hikes and a wellness paradise. I have rarely seen such a perfectly coordinated team! Whether in service, at the reception, in the wellness area, or in housekeeping. You can see that even the employees feel comfortable here! A living dream!! We will come back!

Outstanding, in every respect. Great and extremely well-maintained facility, very nice cuisine, perfect location with a view of the mountains, but the best part: especially warm and personal interaction from always extremely friendly, patient staff!!

Felt completely comfortable

I was at the Franks for a short vacation and felt very comfortable from the first to the last minute. Room, wellness, restaurant and food, bar / drinks, hike - everything excellent. A special highlight was the Chef's Table.
Thanks to all the good spirits at the hotel!

A wellness hotel in a beautiful location

My mother was a solo traveler at the Frank Hotel and was cared for very lovingly.
The hotel has an exceptionally large and beautiful wellness area with a large outdoor pool and indoor pool. The wellness treatments were all very professional and good. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, and fresh egg dishes were prepared to order every day.
The dinner was very nicely presented but could have been a bit more natural for my mother. A highlight was the desserts every evening.

We arrived on the day of the kitchen party.

The appetizers in the kitchen were lovingly made from very good ingredients and tasted accordingly good. But the absolute highlight was the band and the atmosphere in the kitchen! And the entire staff was infected by the good mood. Now we know what the slogan "Vacation with friends" can mean. Friendly service and good breakfast, but significant deficiencies in cleanliness.
