Best resort to stay with family

Situated on the banks of lidder river in main pahalgam with easy access to aru and betab valley. The location and view is top notch. The ambience of property is among the best in pahalgam with backdrop of beautiful snow laden peaks of Himalayas. The rooms are a beautiful blend of modern and traditional architecture with all facilities. I found found the garden in front really relaxing and enough room for my kids to play. The property is fairly priced and really helpful staff is the cherry on top. The owner himself made sure we are feeling comfortable and safe as family in this beautiful place.

Did anyone ever stay there?

- It's basically a lodge or Maximum we can say it as a homestay not a hotel, with one caretaker. One or two rooms with one common room.
- No proper power backup, generator work only from 6 pm to 11 pm. Place is frequented by power cuts, so you may be shivering in cold if power goes off in the night. With kids, nightmare
- Geyser takes lot of time and don't work properly, best you can get is lukewarm water
- Food isn't good nor is the quantity, can't expect more from a single caretaker, who manages everything
- tv don't work, some issue in electrical circuit, light turns on automatically in the night ( I hope and believe it's not ghost)
- The caretaker isn't a very supportive guy and will bluntly say No to normal things that are expected in a hotel which they are unable to provide

It’s such a good experience to lived here, the rooms are cozy and belong to the good location and stunning view.
