Wonderful experience

Central location, close to the lake, all points of interest and shopping streets. The beds are very comfortable, the breakfast is plentiful and the owner very nice and friendly.
Great prices. Recommended to everyone. We hope to return soon

Avoid or risk a fine

Uncomfortable location downtown and with the LTZ. You cannot enter with the car because the owner does not communicate the license plate to the police (we received the fine after 2 months). Comfortable rooms on the second floor without elevator. Avoid it. In the area there are much more comfortable places.

Great hotel to stay at

A family owned B&B near the main square of Como center. It is near everything including the main train station and the port. We were well looked after by the owner. The rooms are very spacious and clean including the shower and toilet. Breakfast is in the garden which contributes a lot to the lovely ambience. The price is reasonable considering the location. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to go on holiday in Como.

Be careful of its false advertising

1) Parking really problematic and difficult to access.
We had to wait for the host to park both when we arrived and when we left to hand over the parking keys. In addition, it was really difficult to contact him by phone to finally obtain the address of the parking lot which has nothing to do with the accommodation.
In addition, the parking lot was so small that he asked to park our rental car himself.
2) Bad surprise at the start by being forced to pay in cash without warning and above all without any sensitivity that this did not suit us.
More interested in defrauding his government than helping us
3) False advertising: the host does not speak French and hardly speaks English.
Really place to AVOID especially if you are traveling with a vehicle and you don't speak Italian.
