Nice Hotel, perfect location, but very small room

My stay took place in May 2026. 1 night
Location and hotel:
Next to the old city wall. Parking for free behind the building. Perfect location
Service:
Very friendly and helpful staff throughout the hotel.
Room:
Very clean to the back. But very small.
Breakfast:
Very good breakfast with a broad selection, very good quality and very nice presentation.

A beautiful hotel just a short walk from Lucca train station and across the road from the city walls.
The staff were amazing with special mention to Giuliana in the breakfast room. She was friendly and accommodating to our needs.
Even though just set off the road, the hotel was so peaceful and tranquil and, whilst modern it had a wonderful charm.
We would definitely stay again and wholeheartedly recommend it.

This hotel is in a great location just outside the city walls and very near the Elsie entrance to the old city. It is well maintained, friendly staff, the breakfast has many selections and the rooms are quite comfortable. Also, it has free onsite parking!!!! The one thing to note and this happens all over Italy, in our experience, if it is really hot, and it was, the AC cannot keep up. In this instance it was the middle of the night before the room was really cool. We often travel with our own portable fan just for these instances. This doesn't diminish our experience with the hotel as this is our second time staying and we'll stay there again.

A wonderful place to stay. The staff are lovely, very polite, helpful and heartfelt. We felt genuinely welcomed. Everywhere is very clean and pleasant. Breakfast is excellent.
