Not to be missed !

We stayed in this Riad a few days ago together with a couple of friends. We had made the reservation by chance. The house is located in the center of the Medina in a very central position. None of us had ever been to Marrakesh, and I must confess that entering those "alleys" can make you a little anxious at first. When you arrive in the Riad, a world of beauty and serenity opens up. The welcome from the staff is superb. The breakfast, served extemporaneously, is very good. Excellent quality-price relation. The rooms are beautiful and welcoming. We will certainly return and highly recommend it to everyone

Absolute freaking nightmare

The nightmare I could have never imagined took place. I made a reservation for two guests. We got to the riad at 2:40am and the property has just told me they will refuse to give me the room keys because the second guest is not my husband! They told us they don't have another room to give us so we sleep in separate rooms. They won't help us find another place to stay, together or separate. Their only solution was we will refund you and you can sleep on the street for all we care....Just as long as their morals are clean. It is now 4am my night and at least tomorrow is ruined and we're waiting for the police.

Unable to contact the host. We had a sad demise in my family and asked the host to cancel or change the dates. I didn't have an answer, and they've kept all the money from the reserve.

Brilliant stay, walking distance to everything but in a calm safe street

We had a really lovely and easy stay at Riad Gjulia. A walking distance from everything but simultaneously out of the hustle and bisto and in a calm quiet street. Really safe and really lovely people who run the riad. Would definitely recommend.
