A haven of peace in the heart of the medina.

Superb riad ideally located in the heart of the medina: warm welcome, exceptional breakfast, good bedding, spacious room.

Right in the middle

Unobtrusive nice service. A great color concept throughout the riad. The room layout over 2 floors is very successful. (Accessibility should not be expected in Morocco ).
The Riad itself is located in a small quiet side street. It is not far to the beach and its cafes.
We would love to come back here anytime.

Friendly Staff and a Fantastic Medina Location

Our first trip to Morocco was made even more special by staying at Riad Amaris. From the moment we booked, the staff were incredibly helpful, arranging an airport taxi for us. As the riad is tucked away in the heart of the Medina, where cars aren't allowed, our driver kindly walked us all the way to the entrance, making our arrival completely hassle-free.
We received a lovely warm welcome with cold bottled water before being shown to our room. We stayed on the top floor, so it's worth noting there are quite a few stairs, which may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
The room was spacious and comfortable. One thing to be aware of is that the toilet is within the bedroom and doesn't have a separate door, which may not suit everyone. Storage space is limited, but it was more than enough for our few nights. The bed was a little firmer than I prefer, and the curtains let in quite a bit of light, so I'd definitely pack an eye mask if I stayed again. We also noticed a few ants on the floor, but it wasn't anything that affected our stay.
Breakfast each morning was a real treat, with fresh fruit, eggs, delicious homemade-style bread and pastries, along with coffee and refreshing Moroccan mint tea.
What truly makes Riad Amaris special is the wonderful staff and its fantastic location in the Medina. Everyone was so welcoming and genuinely wanted to make sure we had a great stay. Although I didn't sleep as well as I usually do, that's something I'd easily solve by bringing an eye mask next time. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and friendly place to stay in Rabat.

A Wonderful Stay

Stayed here solo for 5 nights last week and absolutley loved it. In the heart of a busy medina the Riad is place of tranquility. I had a room on the top floor and my room was perfect, quiet, clean and came with air conditioning. There is nothing to fault at all, they even arranged for a taxi back and fore the the airport. Rabat is also amazing, much preferred over Marrakesh absolutley no nagging in the median to buy anything. Absolutley loved the whole 6 days here.

stay at Riad Amaris Rabat

My parents stayed there for a few days and were treated extremely well by the staff. Because they couldn't use the stairs, they got a room on the ground floor. In addition, their breakfast was served downstairs every day, at no extra cost. They even got a daily pot of tea with delicious Moroccan cookies. In short, we have never experienced such excellent service anywhere, while my parents always stay in good hotels.
