Comfort, friendliness, and cost-benefit

Although I travel to Rabat frequently, it was the first time I stayed at Riad Safia: I was amazed! The price/benefit was very good. The location (in the Medina) is perfect, the comfort is unquestionable (especially in room 1), the breakfast is plentiful and the friendliness and kindness of the staff is unsurpassed.

Avoid at all costs.

Reservation canceled by the hotel, for no reason, even though we had made it 3 months ago. Ghost hotel; neither the email nor the phone works. Avoid at all costs.

Beautiful property. Room was very culturally pleasing. The property owner/manager was accommodating and very friendly. The breakfast was delicious.
MOTE: steep stairs and no elevator, it made carrying luggage difficult.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay in the heart of the Medina. Well located with most of the main sites within walking distance. Also a secure underground carpark a few minutes walk away if you are driving.
The place itself is beautifully styled, the rooms clean and comfortable. Also despite being within the hustle and bustle of the Medina nice and quiet.
Make sure to include breakfast if you book here as you get a filling spread to set you up for the day. There is also a menu for some dinner options as well.
The ladies running this place are friendly and welcoming and should I find myself in Rabat again I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
