This was a business related stay. The location and the quality of the place were excellent. I also enjoyed the very well crafted and displayed breakfast buffet. My only annoyance to an otherwise good experience was the fact that the gym had separate male and female hours, and due to my schedule I could not enjoy the gym facilities. Nevertheless I would recommend the stay

Extremely Disappointing and Unwelcoming Experience
We are Qatar residents visiting Riyadh for the first time, and I was with my young son when we came across Cafe 101. We simply wanted to get a coffee to take away.
As soon as we entered, I asked if I could order coffee. Instead of politely explaining the policy, the waiter immediately said, “Kids are not allowed here.” I explained that we were only getting coffee to take away, but he kept repeating it several times. I understood the policy the first time.
We noticed another entrance connecting to the restaurant next door inside the hotel property, so we went there. While walking there, the same waiter again reminded me that kids were not allowed. I finally told him, “I already know. That is literally the only thing you have told me since we came in.”
Then, after I sat down at the other restaurant and looked at the menu, he asked, “You want coffee? Costa is there because here expensive.”
That comment was extremely insulting. How did he decide that I couldn’t afford their coffee or anything out of the menu? The assumption was completely unnecessary and made me feel judged and unwelcome.
I completely understand a no-children policy. What I don’t understand is the attitude, repeatedly making us feel unwelcome, and then assuming what we can or cannot afford.
Very disappointing and certainly not the kind of hospitality I expected on my first visit to Riyadh.

Amazing hotel
My son and I have just returned, and we’re already missing it- it was such a wonderful experience. The service was truly amazing; the chef went out of his way to prepare anything my son requested, which made it extra special. Everyone was incredibly friendly, the rooms were spotless, and the whole hotel had such a lovely, welcoming atmosphere.

Room was good but problem with the aircon and comfort of the bed. It felt a bit dates but location and restaurants were excellent
