Experience

I really enjoyed the experience, it is a small Inn in the center but very well prepared that there is q pay cash. The owner attended us very well and gave us directions to see in Nerja and always shows hospitable to explain , it was all super clean, there is microwave and a small frigo very clean also that makes very good if you want to bring food since breakfast and eating out is expensive

Not worth what it costs

Worst hostel where I stayed in Nerja. There are many more and better than this. Not worth the price
You have to pay cash if you don't get let in
There is no dryer and the fridge and microwave I do not advise you to use
The pillow worse than the old spiked ones

Absolute disgrace - left us to sleep on the street!!

I travelled to Spain with my sister so she could visit our sick mother who lived nearby. I contacted the hostel prior to booking to let them know our anticipated arrival time, which they agreed to. On the day, our flight was delayed, which again I communicated to them and they again said it was OK. When we arrived, the owners were leaving and locking the door. We apoligised for being late and asked to be shown to our room, to which they said that there was no room available - they had rented it to someone else!!! Disgusting behaviour - leaving two females alone to sleep on the street (we tried other hostels/hotels, but as it was peak summer season there was nothing available in town - the nearest available room was in a hotel in the mountains).
We contacted booking.com that we had booked through, but got no reply.
The icing on the cake was receiving a 'charge' for not arriving!! We had arrived, we tried to check in, and we were physically prevented from checking in and using the room we had booked and paid for by the owners.
No apology, and an unnecessarily stressful start to a trip to say goodbye to our dying mother.

Painful!

Our experience was regulinchi. We went when it was hottest and our surprise was that the air conditioning didn't work, it didn't have a plug. We complained to the man in charge and his response was to open the windows. Sorry but if we have paid for a service I think that was not the answer. And as for the room, everything was dirty and very old.

Excellent

Been in Nerja many times. This is the only place I would go back to and this is my first full day. Great location, lovely room, great shower. So happy to be here for four weeks. Solo traveller, don’t like resort hotels. This is perfect.
