Very cozy

Passed the roads when we were on a road trip. Needed to find somewhere to sleep before we drove on. Super good service considering that we arrived late in the evening and only booked a few hours before arrival. The room was beyond expectations, pleasant interior, nice and comfortable bed.

Air mattress!

Booked a double room and was given 2 single beds in opposite corners of the room- one of which was an air mattress. No apology, no discount, no warning, only the offer to find another hotel. Very unfriendly host.

Now a Really Pleasant and Refreshing Experience.

I reviewed Bashults Gard previously and was critical of the cleanliness . We decided to give the place another visit and I am glad we did. They now have a lady that looks after the B & B section and I am happy to report that the place is now clean .It is still the same concept which is different,very good value and you will wake refreshed.As mentioned before the rooms are comfortable and large.The breakfast ingredients are left in the fridge in the kitchen area and you help yourself. So after a very good nights sleep you can take a walk in the Swedish countryside and then prepare your breakfast...no fuss,no hurry and very nice contrast to staying in a city hotel.Pets are also welcome.

Good Concept But Needs Cleaning.

As the title suggests the idea of lodging above a stable in the heart of the Swedish countryside is an extremely good concept. The bedroom was large and very comfortable. What let this place down was the cleanliness of the bathroom and the kitchen. The bathroom was warm and well equipped but the W.C. and the shower were really dirty which was a shame. Worse was the kitchen,which had not been cleaned properly for quite some time,it would never have passed an inspection from a health officer and I certainly would not eat anything there. I hope the owners can rectify this as the place would make an ideal stopover otherwise.

Mysig och bra service

Ett av de mysigaste boendena på vår resa. Utmärkta lokaler och allt var fräscht och i ordning. Trevligt bemötande från ägaren fick vi också, trots att vi kom fram ganska sent på aftonen. Här passerar man gärna igen om man skulle ha vägarna förbi.
