Nice and quiet

Very nice and quiet hotel next to a hospital in Edegem, Belgium. Check in was easy and parking was free which was nice. We had breakfast our first morning but not the last day. Breakfast was ok but nothing really special. The hotel is located far from most shopping but it was quiet and clean.

Great hotel

Excellent hotel. We slept here with friends for Tomorrowland. Good distance from the festival site, free parking and neat, spacious rooms. Excellent beds and otherwise quiet hotel. Rooms are not noisy. Large walk-in shower (wheelchair accessible).

No Soap, terrible location (besides hospital)

The bed was comfortable, the people were nice, but they had no soap in the bathroom - and I didnt check before I started showering. Ridiculous.
Location is terrible UNLESS your only goal is to be super close to the hospital, then its OK
Otherwise stay in "downtown" edegem, and just take a 10 min uber to hospital...

Excellent stay

I stayed here because it was close to Antwerp and I was visiting my relatives,
Nice people at the desk, reasonable priced , free easy parking,good wifi, that is all I want in life when I travel.
I was unable to give the resterant a seperate review because sadly tis was not that good for an evening meal, the breakfast very good indeed including the helpful efficient staff member.
Dinner was no good at all my advise would be to stay with the hamburger and the excellent chips, they where exceptional good, I had 3 portions.
Now the crickets where no good at all, mushy without much consistency in them, my mum would have been disgusted, the squid was the worst I have ever eaten, they seem to be plastic rings with very thick brown stuff fried around them, last but not least I tried the prawn salad,must have been a shortage of prawns that week, salads where just chopped up bits and pieces, sorry about this honest review, I liked the place, breakfast was good but train the chef.

Handy hotel in case of a adjacent hospital visit

This hotel is fully equipped to receive patients or disabled. Extra wide lifts, doors, bathroom, etc. For this category the hotel seems certainly suitable. Moreover the UZA Antwerp hospital is accessible on foot. At a distance you can not recognize this building as a hotel. Parking space is available.
The clean, wide and comfortable rooms have no face nor atmosphere. Perhaps the nearby hospital is reflected somehow on this hotel and its reception staff: formal, impersonal and aloof. The breakfast is average. A dog is allowed.
All in all an avarage hotel in special surroundings. It can be recommended in case of a hospital visit. But do not expect any special attention.
