Warm place

We were very well received by the owners who are friendly. The room is clean, we have everything we needed. Small room but with bathroom and wardrobe. Perfect for one night! We'll be right back. Price quality ratio 10/10.

Comfort, calm and total serenity

Superb stay in an inn where everything is done for the guest's comfort. We were 3 adults in a room with private bathroom, a room which was more than very pleasant. The breakfast has everything you need (coffee, tea, croissant, bread, muffin, etc.). We were won over by this charming place located at the end of an alley overlooking the mountains and if the opportunity allows us, we will definitely come back!!

A wonderful retreat

This a place worthwhile to visit. If you look for a relaxing place this is the one. The owner is extremely helpfully and the rooms are clean and comfortable. If you look for a TV its not here, which is sometimes a blessing. The WiFi works well but the connection may take a couple of minutes, but than I had no problems with it. The continental breakfast is sufficient. It is as well a child friendly place and there is enough space for them on the property. Just a couple of minutes out of town.
We certainly enjoyed our stay.

Friendly service

This was a very comfortable place to stay. It is out of the way. Easy to find during the day. However the second sign should be lit at night as it is very dark in the countryside. The breakfast was excellent despit it being a continental. Coffee was good as were the croissants.

Unimpressed

I had high hopes for this Auberge based on the glowing reviews on Tripadvisor.
I used the Auberge as a base for a cycling holiday mid-august August. My plan was to explore the area by bike for a couple of days before pedalling back to Montreal on my final day.
As a solo traveller, I was looking forward to some of the activities that were mentioned in previous posts (e.g., great lounge area, farm animals, views of the valley, etc.)
Unfortunately, the inn has changed hands and the lodgings are in a single dormitory style bunkhouse. More like a hostel than a rustic Swiss Auberge.
My room was actually very comfortable and quiet. I enjoyed falling asleep to the sound of crickets and the occasional owl.
Breakfast was pretty good; excellent croissants and muffins. I really appreciated the energy buds that powered my bike rides.
On my last day, a group arrived at 8:30 for a business conference and took over the hostel. They took over the breakfast area and several people walked into my room as I was getting packed up for my day's ride.
I found it very strange that I was rushed out of my room before 9 a.m. when check out is usually 11 a.m.
The new owners seem like nice people. The Auberge needs more amenities including a breakfast/ longer area and some more attention to the needs of their guests.
