Today, we follow the owner's perspective to experience its distinctive charm. The name "‌Longma Yi‌" derives from two traditional local folk activities—the Dragon Lantern Festival and the Horse Lantern Festival, both deeply rooted in He-shang Town, a hub of intangible cultural heritage. The Dragon Lantern Festival, a national-level intangible cultural heritage, features a centuries-old "Banlong Dance" (Plank Dragon Dance), embodying Xiaoshan's millennia of history. "Longma Yi" (Recalling Longma) reflects the homestay's dedication to preserving this cultural legacy. The homestay is a renovated four-story Chinese-style building, with winding corridors encircling a skywell-like courtyard, offering picturesque views. Riverside rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows and cozy rattan chairs, inviting guests to bask in the breeze and sunlight by the water—a truly serene experience.
