The accommodation (type) of the guesthouse has evolved from bunk bed rooms at the very beginning to standard (ordinary) rooms and now to standard twin rooms. It has hosted tourists from all over the world. Zhuoma Guesthouse is operated by Zhuoma and her family, who hope that every guest who has stayed at the guesthouse will feel as warm and comfortable as being at home. The guesthouse is located in the Middle Tiger Leaping Gorge scenic area in Shangri-La (near Yixian Tian (a scenic spot)). It faces Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in front and is backed by Haba Snow Mountain. It is close to the Middle Tiger Leaping Gorge scenic area and the Upper Tiger Leaping Gorge scenic area. Nearby, there is the Gaolu hiking trail, one of the top ten classic hiking routes in the world, and the Middle Tiger Leaping Gorge, one of the deepest canyons in the world with a vertical drop of 3,900 meters. For self-driving tours, you can drive to Tiger Leaping Gorge via the East Ring Road, passing by Haba Snow Mountain, visit the Dongba Sacred Land Baishuitai scenic area, and then proceed to Shangri-La.
