Lovely Hotel and Very Comfortable

We spent 3 nights there and found the hotel to be very charming, clean, spacious room with separate bathroom. Free WiFi and very good quality food at a very reasonable price. The hosts were most gracious and friendly although their level of English was not great. The location is very relaxing with the local castle (Schloss) at the back door with a nice walk through the gardens. The owner has a nice aviary with budgerigars and other small birds as well as a few guinea pigs and a very large rabbit. The price is quite cheap and within 40 mins drive of Dresden. Highly recommend this hotel.

An absolute flop!!!

The service can be improved and the food is a disgrace. We will definitely never come here again.
Criticism is met with incomprehension.

Restaurant review

We went out to eat as a family at Christmas and found ourselves in a very loud restaurant. The ambience was not very appealing for the Advent season. The food was very mediocre, partly tasteless and was not in proportion to the high price. Unfortunately, I would not recommend it. The friendly service couldn't make up for it.

Ein ruhiges, sauberes und nettes Hotel. Das Personal ist ausnehmend freundlich, die gesunde Nachtruhe aufgrund der Lage sowie der guten Matratzen garantiert. Insgesamt absolut empfehlenswert, insbesondere mit Blick auf Preis-Leistung!

Hatten hier einen schönen Abend mit gut zubereiteten Speisen verbracht. Alles sehr sauber sowie ein flotter Service. Preisleistung im gehobenen Niveau. Die Auswahl auf der Karte ist regional gehalten, so wie es sich für einen Landgasthof gehört. Gerne wieder
