We had such a lovely time in Gresil residence again.
The owners are fantastic and bent over backwards to accommodate us, and the room was cleaned to a high standard each day. The location is perfect: so much prettier and quieter than Champuloc, and the view from the room was stunning. We appreciated the underground parking maps of the area, and the little kitchen.
We will definitely be returning, thank you very much!

Too bad!

The Residence is located in an excellent panoramic position on Monte Rosa and Val d'Ayas, seen from Antagnod. In addition to the balcony, in this regard you can enjoy a garden with chairs and armchairs. The apartment is comfortable and functional with daily cleaning. But unfortunately two aspects that we consider unpleasant must be highlighted: the owner, in addition to the normal deposit, has asked for the advance payment of all the agreed fee for the stay. Even luggage could not be stored in the room before the balance. The motivation lies in the fact that some guests had left without paying. But why assume that we are wrong people? The other aspect is that we were absolutely prevented from hosting a friend for dinner in the apartment, citing as an explanation a possibility : "And if something happens to her, what was she doing here?!" Availability to signatures, documents, indemnification, additional insurance and other amenities, was for nothing. We felt private regardless of the usual trust that usually has to be given to guests anyway. On the morning of departure we would have liked to talk about it in person with the Lady who, however, was not present: but usually you do not greet? We would also have advised her to indicate on the site her unique rules, so guests would be prepared.
Too bad, we're used to a lot more treatment.

The garage is great especially on a snowy winter day. but the check in process was a big issue. We came around 7pm, which is within the timeline specified on Expedia. however, no one was there.. we tried to call and message, no response for 30mins. It was a snowy day and its dark and we haven't eaten. So we went to the only restaurant open in town to grab a bite while contacting Expedia for a solution.
Expedia finally get in touch with the owner, however, we were demanded to go back to check in within 5 mins otherwise they would not wait. However, after I got there, it was not getting better. I waited for another 5mins at the door. I think the owner has tried their best to help however, nobody really speaks English and I unfortunately speaks limited Italian. The house is beautiful and new. The view is also great. We believe we are the only guest there for that night, if the owner were not planning to be there, at least text me if calling is too difficult to understand.
I simply would not recommend staying here if you don't speak basic Italian to communicate. If you do like to choose this location, try contact them in advance, maybe that would help.

Impressive position

Gresil Residence is placed in beautiful little village,you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Monte rosa glacier.
The apartaments are fully furnished with TV and Kitchen with fridge,cover garage and a sky slope just few hundred meter away.
Staff is extremely gentel and friendly,good value for money,the location is quite expensive.

Beautiful stay !!

One of the best places i've seen. Beautiful village and breathtaking panorama, the sunrise from the rooms of the residence is something spectacular. The garage is wide, rooms very comfy, warm and clean. Also each room and bathroom is surprisingly big.
One comment of negativity was that we could hear our neighbors speaking through the walls. Otherwise everything was perfect
