Great bikers stop

BBG SPAIN 2025
Group of 9 ladies on motorcycles.
First impressions
One of our ladies called to ask them to keep the pool open for us which they did as it was due to be closed at end of season ! Great out come on this and we all enjoys dip !!
The ride up to the reception , road is gravely and full of potholes !! Not much fun on heavily laden motorcycles.
Reception was busy and felt unwelcoming by female staff unless you spoke Spanish , no smiles, no hello or acknowledgement, for a few it was their first trip abroad so would have been nice to have had a smile ! The help from gentleman at front desk regarding restaurant on site or taxi service was very helpful and appreciated.
Accommodation, basic barracks , very very dated but clean. Shower needs updating as had to hold it rather than it spray onto you .
No kettle !!! This was mega disappointing!
No tea towels !
Two sofas. One comfortable the other was missing the back cushions , very uncomfortable!!
Pool was nice but a tad green , had the robot cleaner in there daily doing its task ! Water was freezing !!!
No sun loungers which was a shame as so peaceful , just two benches.
No onsite shop so nearest shop 10 min drive .
Positive side
It was a fantastic location!!! This served as our base camp from where we went exploring every day of our stay ! Price we got for this stay was great!
Peaceful, fantastic views. Plenty of parking for all of our bikes and a garage, but you can’t lock it ??
Heating was great very toasty !
All of us enjoyed our stay, could have done with a few more towels and complimentary toilet roll and washing up liquid.
Local town had some great restaurants and great food !
Would recommend this accommodation to others as a perfect location for fantastic biking roads , but if you want posh this definitely isn’t for you

Disappointed and surprised.

In relation to a family stay, on the weekend of February 28 to April 3, 2025, in one of the villas (For 10 people and 5 rooms) of the Formigal Bubal Complex 3000 (Road A-136, km 6, 22665 Biescas (Huesca)), booked by Booking, I would like to make a review in the spirit that our mountain tourism in Spain is to the standard it deserves and we do not go to business with abusive rates for what they offer, taking advantage of the demand and the good and naive faith of the people.
From the Formigal Bubal 3000 Complex, highlight the friendliness of reception staff, location and heating. Of the rest of the accommodation everything is negative: Broken box springs, tied with tape; uncomfortable mattresses; unboxed and broken kitchen cabinets; insufficient crockery to be an accommodation for 10 people; kitchen hob barely heated; no hot water in the kitchen; some unglued chairs; etc.
The resulting rate was 70 euros/person/day, somewhat abusive for the service offered. Simply say that compared to that price we have stayed two people with breakfast included in much better places doing the Camino de Santiago.

Bad experience

In the month of July I spent a few days with my children. The only good thing he has is the area. Otherwise my son took a great memory on the tennis court. There were ropes tensioning the net at the height of 1 meter (they should not be there), my son did not see it and ran with his neck and fell to the ground broke his collarbone. After a complaint, claims here nobody answers anything. Liability insurance I don't know if they'll have it... The day before I went to the ER I stopped by reception and talked to them about what happened, someone asked me what apartment I was staying in? No... No one bothered to know who he was to ask the next day how the boy was doing.
They should have the most taken care of children's areas. The apartments are indeed old, is what there is and you see in the photos before you go. But with what they earn if they should invest a little more in cleaning and small arrangements that would improve the look of the apartments. A little paint on the windows for example...

Great potential, dismal results

Old and unkept facilities, poor service, poor care, poor value for money.
It has a very good location, but unfortunately it is totally untapped by the poor services it offers and by the lack of staff.

Very good location
