Portuguese/Spanish Camino

We started our Camino from Tui and stayed at this hotel for our first night. Whilst the staff spoke little English, between a little Spanish and some sign language the staff were so helpful, It's a basic but very clean hotel, a little out of the town but what a magnificent buffet spread for breakfast for around €6. Would recommend this to any other Camino walkers who are travelling through Tui or starting their walk from here

FAR FROM TUI CITY CENTER & FAR FROM CAMINO

Room was a bit run down which I don’t mind but location is NOT GOOD. One mile down hill to the center of Tui & restaurants. One mile back up hill to hotel from Tui. Had I known it was so far from the Camino & civilization, I would not have stayed here. Least favorite location on the Camino so far. Other travelers in lobby seemed frustrated with location as well. Had pre-printed maps to show guests how to get down to Tui.

A great stop along the Portuguese Way

.The hotel is very comfortable, just over a kilometer from the center. We arrived late at night and everything was arranged for our arrival. We even found a coffee and snack vending machine in the lobby to eat something. The shower was perfect. The breakfast proposed in the morning was rich and assorted both sweet and savory. To conclude, the lady was kind and helpful.

Unbeatable value for money

Simple accommodation but very clean and quiet. Dinner in your restaurant with a wide menu and unbeatable service. Breakfast very well priced with buffet variety. Unbeatable price. In short, a good idea if you are passing through the area
