Terminal Information - Departing

All flights from Tel Aviv to Beijing depart from Terminal 3. Before boarding the plane and starting your long journey to the far east, you can shop for gadgets, clothes, shoes and sportswear at the Duty-Free stores. Terminal Information - Arriving

Flights from Tel Aviv to Beijing arrive at Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK), located 32 km northeast of Beijing city center. The airport has three terminals. Terminal 1 serves domestic routes of Hainan Airlines and its subsidiaries Terminal 2 serves China Southern Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, SkyTeam members and other domestic and international flights. Terminal 3, the newest terminal, serves Air China, Star Alliance and Oneworld members, and some other domestic and international flights which do not operate from either Terminals 1 or 2. EL AL operates from Terminal 3. The Express Railway departs every 10 minutes from 6:20 to 22:50 and a single trip costs ¥25.00 (around ‎₪13). You can find the station at Terminal 3 on level F2 of the Parking Garage #3. Various local buses stop here, and you can buy tickets from Gate 7 or Gate No 9, just outside the terminal building. Alternatively, you can take a Taxi, Taxis charge ¥13.00 (less than ₪7) for the first three kilometers and ¥2.30 (₪1.20) for every additional km.

Things you should know

Before booking flights from Tel Aviv to Beijing, make sure your passport is valid. Without it, you won’t be able to enter China. You will also need to apply for a tourist visa at the embassy in Israel. The fee is ₪100, and it will be ready to be picked up on the fourth working day after the application.
