Why Fly With Aeroflot

How to Check-in:

With Aeroflot, you have many options to check yourself in. Online check-in is available from 24 hours before departure up until one hour before when your flight departs from Tel Aviv or particular airports in the US. Otherwise, you have until 45 minutes prior to the flight to complete the process. Mobile check-in is not available when you depart from Tel Aviv or Russia, and you will need to print your boarding pass. At the airport, you can use Aeroflot self-service kiosks where you can identify your booking by using your credit card or bonus card. In Ben Gurion Airport they are located in Terminal 3. You can also do it the old school way, by presenting your ticket and passport to the airline representative who will check in your baggage and issue a boarding pass. The counters in Tel Aviv and Moscow open 3 hours before scheduled departure time.

Baggage Allowances and Fees:

All passengers are allowed to bring into the cabin one piece of luggage measuring up to 115 cm (sum of width, length and depth) and weighing no more than 10 kg or 15 kg if you fly business. The free checked baggage allowance is one item of up to 23 kg for Economy, two items of 23 kg for Economy Premium and Comfort Class, and two items of up to 32 kg for Business Class. The size of each piece may not exceed 158 cm. If you need an extra allowance, you can purchase a second bag for $50. The third piece will cost $150.

When you buy directly from Aeroflot’s office, there will be a $14 booking fee. If you want to convert your E-Ticket to a paper ticket, there is $11 service fee.

All Economy Class passengers are offered a two-cycle menu that is changed every six weeks. You will also get soft drinks for free and on some routes even a nice glass of wine. Depending on the destination, departure time and flight duration, you will be served a hot breakfast, lunch or a snack.
