Take the train from Naharyia via Tel Aviv in the direction of Modi’in to Ben Gurion Airport. The train station is located just outside the terminal on level -1. It’s recommended to arrive at least three hours before departure due to security checks. The Duty-Free hall offers a wide variety of clothing items, electronics, books, candy, international and local wines, liquors and more. You can store whatever you have purchased at the פטור ושמור and collect it when you return to Israel.
The restaurants at the food court offer Mediterranean and international cuisines to satisfy your hunger. You can grab something to bite from the cafes or upgrade your waiting time at the Dan Lounges. Flights from Tel Aviv to Tirana arrive at International Airport Nënë Tereza TIA, located in the village of Rinas, 11 km northwest of the city of Tirana. Take the Tirana Rinas Express bus which runs once an hour from 6:00 to 18:00 and connects the airport and Tirana. A single fare is 250 Albanian Lek, approximately ₪8.40.
The fastest way to get to the city center is by taxi. The journey time from the airport to Tirana is 20–25 minutes, depending on traffic and costs about 2,500 Leke (₪83.60).
