Terminal Information - Departing

When taking flights from Tel Aviv to Warsaw, it’s recommended to arrive at the airport at least three hours before departing, due to security checks. If you reach the airport by public transportation the departure is from Terminal 1, you can use the free shuttle bus from the train station at Terminal 3. Terminal Information - Arriving

All direct flights from Tel Aviv to Warsaw arrive at Chopin Airport (WAW). The designation of terminals 1 and 2 had changed to a single complex. Now called Terminal A is divided into five areas (A, B, C, D, E) in two main halls. There are five public bus routes from the airport with stops at Warsaw’s key transport nodes and the leading hotels. Standard price for a single ticket zone 1-2 costs 3.4 PLN (almost the same in ₪). Alternatively, you can use the two SKM Szybka Kolej Miejska (Fast Urban Railway) lines, S2 and S3. A taxi ride from the airport to the city center is around 40 PLN. Make sure you take a licensed taxi. The tariffs should be clearly displayed in the car window.

Things you should know

As an Israeli passport holder, you do not need to apply for a visa in advance. On flights from Tel Aviv to Warsaw, your passport must be valid for at least 90 days after the date you depart from Poland. If you have a Polish passport, you must enter the country with it; then you can proceed to the EU line at borders control. Otherwise, go to the all passports line.
